When the Quinjet landed, Loki locked Freya inside of it, a long way from where the battle was supposed to be.

"Sorry darling, I just want you to be safe," he whispered before closing the door, leaving her safely behind.

"Loki got Freya," Fury said angrily.

Around the table all the Avengers were sitting. Wanda and Nat looked like they were about to cry, and the rest were just exhausted and scared.

"We are never listening to the God-man ever again!" Tony said and got up from the chair and started to walk around in circles.

Thor also got up, but he didn't look as scared as the others. "Loki would never hurt her," he said with confidence.

"Your brother who killed 80 people in two days? That same Loki? I am not listening to you, Point Break." Tony said in an angry and sarcastic tone.

The others rolled their eyes.

"And if I did that from the start, she would still be here,". Tony marched out of the room.

Thor looked back at the others, trying to figure out this strange Midgardian man. "Just give him a minute to cool down," Natasha brushed it off, trying to comfort Thor.

But Thor wasn't really bothered at this Mr. Stark opinion.

"I know my brother better than any of you. And you might know the Freya she is now better than me, but if there is one person in the universe Loki wouldn't hurt, it's her." Thor said in a serious voice.

Nobody wanted to argue with the God. They all knew he was right, no matter what Tony might say.

The others were lost in the dark. They didn't know who Loki was, or what he was capable of doing.

But Thor knew Loki, even though his brother surprised him more times than he could count, he knew Freya made him a better person.

Loki would never hurt her. He had proven he would tear down the entire universe because of her death.

He would never hurt her.

"Can someone fetch Stark?" Fury asked, annoyed at his dramatic ass.

Rhodey nodded and went out the door to look for Tony. He hadn't wandered far away. He was leaning against a wall covering his face with his hand.

"Fury missed you," Rhodey said.

Tony chuckled. "Sure he did. I just need a minute"

And Rhodey gave him that, a minute of silence, but didn't leave his side.

"I am scared," Tony said after a minute of silence. He put his hand down from his face and looked at Rhodey with a serious look.

"Me too," Rhodey answered.
