"Paige, take a picture with us?" Jessie one of the Combs twins walked up behind me as I was walking over to the couches

"Of course how are you guys, you're getting so tall"I said as they handed Quincy a phone to take a picture and when he was done they responded

"We're good,"

"We were hoping we could possibly babysit the girls for a day as a video for our youtube channel.." D'Lila the other twin said with a pleading look

"That sounds great, I'll have to ask their Dad but I don't see a problem with that" they smiled and we talked a little longer before I was able to continue my path to the "big man" himself

"Hi stranger" I smiled and waved at everyone around but talking directly to Melo

" 'sup?" he nodded my way playing with Lexi and Ava who now sit beside him but Ana still sat in his lap

I didn't even know what to say next, i'm still trying to understand how he saw fit to walk up in here without saying anything to me, or acknowledging the girls or anything

I felt disrespected and before I make a scene I just want to let him know so we can move on

The girls got up once they saw me, and Lexi begged me to pick her up but she then she saw my Elijah pass in the yard and begged to get down and they both ran to him

"Can I talk to you right quick, inside?" I asked LaMelo who held a nonchalant look watching Elijah interact with the girls

"Uh hu- UH NO" he started to agree then Ms.A cut him off

"Whatever you need to say you can say it in front of me" she interrupted

"I mean not really if I asked him to step inside" I scrunched my face up

"Well he- alright" he now cut her off and tapped her thigh signaling her to get up and with that we walked back inside the house

"Ok , um basically the way you came in, I felt disrespected. I somewhat understand you're with your girl so you may not wanna come say hi or whatever to me and that's fine but the girls nah. It's literally their birthday, their first at that and no one or nothing should've stopped you from acknowledging it. Like they should have been the first thing you ran to when you got here." I spilled my honest thoughts receiving a sigh from him

"I know, I'm sorry forreal. But you can't say I didn't call this morning" he tried to make a case

"pshh a call, go ask them girls if they remember that call, they got so many this morning I barely remembered you called. They just needed to see you and be with you which they don't get to do a lot, so do that. Today isn't about Me and You, or Ana or Elijah. Its for Ava and Lexi so for the next few hours can we please just focus on them?" my dog Bentley came around the corner and jumped for Melo who picked her up

"you right" he shrugged looking a little stressed but i wasn't gonna press it, his personal life isn't my business unless it impacts the twins

"you damn right I'm right, I can't remember a time I was gah-damn wrong" i laughed playfully punching his shoulder and he cracked a smile
