I've gotten into a bit of the Archie comics. I don't think that specific continuity would be healthy for either one of them, but I think with enough work, Scourge would find his own identity, and Sonic wouldn't be so much of an ass.
But in the depiction of SEGA!Sonic, they'd be nice. Scourge would probably be a bit like Rouge, always teasing and bothering Sonic, but more in a playful greaser way rather than a seductive way.
