'Winter had come to Riverdale and everyone was suffering from an acute case of Quiz Show fever. No one more so than Y/n Jones and Betty Cooper, who was pouring all their considerable energies into beating the tar out of Stonewall Prep's team led by, wouldn't you know it, Bret Weston Wallis. The only person immune to Quiz Show fever? My pal Archie Andrews... Who was feeling a lot less lonely these days.'

Jug and you lay down and cuddle after sex. "Thank god for Bret's early morning workouts." Jughead says. "Jug, do not mention him right now, okay, you ruined this moment." You state, adjusting yourself on Jug's chest. "I love getting you all wound up." He says. He stokes your hair and smiles at you. "Why are you smiling?" You ask. "Just everything. You're here, I turned in my draft for the Baxter Brothers book. And Yale said.." he begins. "Yale said what?" You ask, sitting up. He hesitates. "Did you get your final acceptance from Yale and not tell me?" I ask. "Yeah, I think I did." He replies. "Wow." I say. "Are you okay?" He asks. "Yeah, no, I'm just.. just processing this. But congratulations, I'm so happy for you!" You yell, kissing him. "Really?" He asks. "What do you mean "really"?" You ask. "I'm surprised your okay with this. I mean, I know you're excited to love together again, but aren't you upset about Betty not getting in? I know she's your best friend." He says. "Of course I'm upset about that. But this will be a good thing for you and I. A new chapter in our life. And we'll still see Betty. She loves us as much as we love her. But, I gotta go. Your dad is making pancakes today, and me and JB like to throw them at each other." You state getting out of bed. "Throw them at each other?" He asks. "Yeah. It's really fun." You reply. You get dressed, kiss Jug, and then walk out the door. As you walk down the hall away, Bret bumps into you. "Oh. You two are finally done. I thought I'd be late for class. Oh, I guess I'll see you in New Have next year." He states. "What? You got into Yale?" You ask. "Yeah. Don't look so surprised. And don't worry, Y/n, I will try to keep all the ladies for from Forsythe. Oh, and I'll make sure to buy a few diapers for your baby." He says. "What? Im not pregnant." You state. "You aren't? That's weird. Fun fact about me: I can tell when someone is pregnant. And, right now, I am getting major Mama vibes. Oh, but no promises on keeping the ladies away from Jug. But, I do promise to crush you and ponytail in Quiz Show finals, if Riverdale makes it that far." He says walking away. "Mama?" You ask myself. You run up the steps and out to your car. You drive back to Riverdale and run into a convenient store. "hi, can I help you find anything?" A lady asks. "No!" You yell at her, running to the back of the store. You walk down the aisle, to the pregnancy tests and grab 2 boxes. You run to the register, hand the guy $5, and quicky zoom back to the car. You drive to the house and run inside. "hey, y/n. Are you ready for our pancake fight?" JB asks. "One second." You reply, running to the bathroom. You sit on the toilet and take out a pregnancy test. You take a deep breath and then pee on it. You set it aside and take one more. You pull up your pants, wait 5 minutes, and then look at it. "oh, dear." You whisper, as you see a plus sign. You look at the other test and it's a plus, too. "No, no, no, no, no." You mumble. You put your hand on your head and pace around. "Okay, Y/n. Let's calm down. This isn't too bad. We'll just tell Jug that we're pregnant, then tell him we aren't ready. We thought we were ready before, but we most certainly are not. Secret. This will be a secret. Only me, you, and Jug. Okay? Okay. Oh, lord, I'm talking to myself. Crap." You whisper, walking out the bathroom door. You take the tests with you and put it in your bag. "Sorry, JB. I gotta go to the Quiz Show finals!" You yell, running out the door. You get to the Semi-finals and get into uniform. "Hey, your late." Betty states. "I know. I'm sorry. Let's get this going." You demand. You walk into stage and into position. You sit in between Cheryl and Veronica. "Welcome back to the Regional RIVW Quiz Show's Semi-finals. Seaside High trails Riverdale High 210 to 240, and now for the final round. Which Venetian island has been famous for glassmaking since the 13tj century?" The producer asks. "Murano." Veronica answers after hitting the button. "Correct." The producer states. "Never go in August. Too many mosquitoes." Veronica whispers to Betty. "What is the length of the diagonal if the side of the square is 10?" The producer asks. "10 square root of 2." Toni answers. "Correct." The producer says. "My brilliant little savant." Cheryl says, hugging Toni. The clock is at 30 and you lock eyes with Bret. "Which of the following is the powerhouse of the cell..." The producer begins. "Mitochondria." You answer. "Correct. Which American architects' house is in Southwest America?" The producer asks. "Frank Lloyd Wright." You answer. "Correct." The producer states. "Who also designed ThornHill. I knew that." Cheryl states. The timer dings. "Well, times up Riverdale has won. They will go on to face Stonewall Prep in the finals." The producer says. The camera crew shuts the cameras off. You walk out and over to the food. "Hey, Y/n. You did great out there." Charles says, walking up to you. "Great might not be enough to beat him." Betty states, looking at Bret. "My god, do I hate him." I say. "Ah, that's Bret, huh?" Charles asks. "Bret Weston Wallis clearly came here to throw up off our game." I state. "Is there any way you can help us with him?" Betty asks. "Aa long as it doesn't involve shallow graves and lye." Charles replies. "No, I just want to make him sweat. He's a son of a diplomat, brags about being untouchable. But what skeletons are buried in his closet? Any intel you could find that would help us meds with his mind would be much appreciated." Betty says. "Is it because he got into Yale and you didn't. Alice told me." Charles says "Charles, I worked my ass off for four years, I put in extra time at the Blue and Gold, I maintained a 4.1 GPA, and I still didn't get it. Not knowing why is driving me crazy." Betty states. "My former mentor at the FBI, he teaches criminal law at Yale. I'll see if I can get you some answers. About Yale... And about Bret." Charles suggests. "Thank you." Betty says. "Well, you guys are boring." I state, walking away.
