Klance and Jaith oneshots

(3rd pov.)

Keith had been in a relationship with James Griffin before going to space, they never broke up so Keith assumed that they were still together. He didn't realize that James would probably be told that he had died.
Finally the war was over and it was time to go back home to Earth, they flew in their lions since the castle wasn't working anymore and got to Earth after a few weeks of flying. Keith wouldn't admit it to anyone but he was really excited to go back home, he really missed James and couldn't wait to see him.
They all got out of their lions after landing on Earth and looked around, it was a lot different than they remembered. Keith looked around to see if he could find James in the crowd of people. James was looking around as well, he had seen the video that the paladins had sent to Earth and was overjoyed when he saw Keith alive. James spotted Keith up front and ran to him. "Keith!"
Keith hears him and looks in the direction that heard his name being called, he saw James and ran to him as well "James!" James picked Keith up and hugged him tightly as a few tears rolled down his cheeks. The other paladins hadn't known about their relationship so they were really confused. "I've missed you so much James.." Keith cries into his shoulder and holds onto him tightly. "I've missed you too Keith..the garrison told me you had died but I just couldn't believe them." James says as he holds him closely. James had only ever dreamed of the day when Keith would come back and was so happy that is was finally happening.

James cupped Keith's cheeks and kissed him deeply "I've wanted to do that for so long.." James says as he rests his forehead against Keith's. "I have too, I love you so much James.." Keith says with tears going down his cheeks. All the other paladins overheard what Keith had said and were really surprised, Shiro walked up to them and put his hand on Keith's shoulder "I didn't know that you were dating James, when did that happen? I thought you hated him because of all the things he said to you when you were both kids"

"I did hate him for a long time but we got partnered up for a project and we ended up talking about what happened." Keith replies. "I told him that the only reason I said those things was because I really liked him, I know it sounds stupid and it was. But the only way he would pay attention to me was when I was being rude to him, otherwise he would just ignore me. I'm not saying that to excuse the things I said to him, I know they were bad but it's the truth." James says and Keith nods. "A few months later James asked me out on a date and I decided to give him a chance and it ended up going really well. We were together as boyfriends for about a year before you came back from space, I should've told him where I was going that night when I found you but I didn't because we had just gotten into a huge argument and I wasn't talking with him. If I knew I would end up in space for years then I would've told him but there was no way to know.." Keith says as he leans on James.
Shiro and the rest of the paladins just stared at them in surprise, none of them had expected Keith to share that much with them since he was normally so closed off and never shared anything personal. Shiro smiled at Keith "Well I'm glad that you're happy with him Keith"

(Time skip)
(Keith's pov.)

I was laying down with James on his bed, I was tired and just wanted to do nothing since we had a meeting with everyone in just a few minutes. I laid my head on James's chest as he ran his fingers through my hair, it was really relaxing. "I really missed moments like this while I was in space.."
James nods and holds me a little closer to him "I did too"
I yawn and start to close my eyes but quickly open them as someone knocks on the door aggressively. James groans and looks at the door "it's open so just open it" he says slightly annoyed.
Ryan walked in with a huge smile on his face "James guess wha-oh hey Keith, sorry I didn't interrupt anything did I?" He asked not really wanting to be on my bad side since he remembers what I was like when we were kids.
I snuggle into James more as he goes back to playing with my hair "just my nap..but it's fine don't worry Ryan."
Ryan looks a little surprised "oh um okay, well anyway..James guess what" he says a bit excited
James smiles and looks at him "what is it?"
Ryan quickly goes to James and shows him some messages on his phone "I got a date, can you believe it?" James smiles as he looks at the messages "wow you really did, I'm guessing you're also here because you need advice?"
Ryan chuckles a little "yeah I do.."
I had listened to their conversation and decided to say something that might help ryan "if you want relationship advice then ask Lance, not James. I love him but he's a mess when it comes to that stuff" I say with a small chuckle. James playfully tugs on my hair "I am not a mess with that stuff.." he says with a pout.
Ryan smiles at the two and chuckles as well "you're right Keith, I forgot how much help he needed when he was planning on asking you out"
James rolls his eyes "okay okay I get it, I'm a mess. Now go ask Lance for advice and go on an amazing date tonight okay?" He says with a smile on his face, he was really happy for Ryan and couldn't wait to meet the lucky person.
Ryan quickly nodded and left the room.
I smiled and snuggled up to James as he kissed my head "how much longer do we have till the meeting?" I ask
James takes his phone out of his pocket and checks the time "about 10 minutes"
I nod and lean up to kiss him "I'm glad you waited for me" I say as I rest my forehead on his. James smiles and nods "of course, you're the only one for me, It would've taken me years to get over you even if I tried my hardest so there was no way I'd be with anyone else anyway" I smile and nod again.

~after the meeting they both went back to the room and cuddled all night long. They were so happy to finally be with each other again~
