Those are the words you heard trying to keep your eyes open knowing that's this is the end of your life with everyone you loved including Kunikida.

You both worked at the Armed Detective Agency together as partners but you two had gotten a mission that none of you knew was going to be as worse as it will.
You two needed to take a small organization's boss down in a small area in Yokohama, your ability is called " A life's way. " Makes you able to go wherever you wanted only if it was familiar with you, doing so takes a lot of your energy so you always have food with you whenever you use your ability, because of how much energy you used up that gave you hallucinations along with some reoccurring nightmares.
You both went to the location with kunikida, Dazai, and Atsushi all of you ready to take down the enemy at hand.
You found the target, pinning him down on the floor while waiting for the others to arrive but unfortunately you weren't lucky this time. Many of the guards hidden around started shooting at every single corner of the area making you let go, the bullets danced around the room while you struggled to escape them.
" Oh God, I can't focus, where are they already?!!"
You spoke out when suddenly the door flew open while kunikida tried to save you by shooting some of them down.
" Are you alright y/n? I'm sorry for taking so long-"
Kunikida was abruptly interrupted when a bullet passed by and hit your waist, then followed by getting hit on your shoulder, legs, and finally your heart.
" Y/N!! No...NO!"
Kunikida yelled as you fell into his arms bleeding out. You could feel how warm he felt when he pulled you closer to him, you saw the tall blond man choking on his sobs as he tried to keep you alive, you placed a hand on his cheek trying to calm him down.
" Kunikida, baby I'll be fine.."
" No, you won't y/n. Please stop talking so we can keep you alive even for just a moment until help arrives.."
" Kunikida that's enough, they won't be here in time it's too late for saving me."
" You'll be fine y/n please just stay with me!! "
He pleaded for you to stay alive but your eyes started to close and your vision getting even more blurry, your body getting colder and colder, you were giving in to your fate while the last thing you can say was,
" We'll be together forever, right? "
The strings that connected your life finally snapped, before slipping into eternal rest. Everyone started crying while your lover screamed not caring about his bloody throat or breaking his vocal cords, all he wanted was his lover to be back with him again.
- time skip to four days after the incident.
" We'll always be together my sweetheart, I love you. "
Kunikida said as he placed flowers on your grave reading the words on your gravestone,
" Y/n L/n, ( Your birthday and preferred date ) "
" I died knowing I finally found the man I truly love the most."
" We all miss you y/n.."
A single tear dropped down from the man's cheek but soon taking his parting with you, he was upset to see you go but he knew that you were always with him no matter what.
