Zeppelynn lets the door slam shut behind her, her back falling against it as a sob wracks through her body. Holding in her emotions the entire Uber ride home had been more than a little bit of a struggle, but she refused to be the disabled girl in the back of the car sobbing. She didn't need that judgement or pity from a total stranger.

"Lynn?" She jumps slightly, her eyes opening to meet Zac's concerned ones as he reaches behind her to lock the door of the shop.

His eyes are asking for answers, for an explanation for her state, anything. But she simply shakes her head, crutching around him towards the stairs up to the apartment. She can hear Zac trailing behind her, but luckily he doesn't say anything else as they ascend into the space they will be spending all of their time over the next while as the world shuts down around them. Zeppelynn doesn't mind though, seeing as her world and heart are already crumbled into smithereens, the world shutting down the same way is just ironic, and possibly helpful to her sudden desire to never leave her bed again.

"Hey, there you- What's wrong Lynn?" Zane frowns as she pushes into the apartment.

"She won't talk." Zac answers from behind her, "Not that I've tried very hard, but she came into the shop and just started bawling."

"I'm going to take a shower." Z whispers, crutching towards her room to collect her things, wanting space to herself to figure things out in her own head. Calum's pain stricken tear stained face filling her mind, the fight overwhelming her as she replays it in her head. She knew she hurt him, she knew it was bad, but she never had the physical image of Calum's pain haunting her, not until today...

The boys seem to understand she needs space, both watching her with concern but neither speaking as she crosses the main space to the bathroom with her things. Shutting herself into the small room she immediately turns on the shower, letting the running water cover her sobs as they bubble out again, slowly peeling her clothing off carefully before climbing into the shower and lowering herself to the chair placed there for her use over the last year.

Letting herself break fully, sobbing as she hugs herself tightly, the hot water running over her body and mixing with the tears falling, all the hopes she'd let herself believe in slipping down the drain with the water. How could she have opened up so much to the idea that Calum would forgive her? She knew he was hurt, but she didn't care, she still believed he would be there, waiting, ready for her to come back into his life. And he had, until he had the chance to think...

It had been almost exactly a year, a year since the blissful few days in New York where she'd felt on top of the world. Where he had finally made her his girlfriend, when life hit the absolute high before the accident happened. What she would give to go back one year, to be in New York laughing, cuddled up in bed with him, neither of them with a care in the world. To get to relive the pure beauty and simplicity of that one week they had together before all hell broke loose.

Her sobs continue until the water begins to run cold, but she lets it fall around her anyway. Wishing the cold would numb the pain in her heart the same way it numbs her skin.

"Zeppelynn?" She startles slightly, glancing up as Hazel's voice fills the small room.

"Z, you've been in there for an hour, let's get you out before you freeze." Hazel appears beside the tub, reaching to turn off the water before she can respond.

"Shit Z, are you trying to freeze yourself out entirely? You'll make yourself sick and that is not something we need right now." Hazel scolds, wrapping a towel around Zeppelynn's shoulders and helping to guide her out of the shower.

"I deserve it." Z simply shrugs, letting Hazel fuss over her, help her dress, and wrap her in a warm blanket as soon as Z is settled on the couch.

"What happened?" Zane asks quietly, dropping beside Zepelynn,  cuddling her into his chest.

It's only then that she truly realizes how cold she is, Zane's warm hug almost burning against her skin as she sinks into his hold around her.

"Calum hates me. Like really hates me, and I pushed. You were right, he's done now, for good. I lost him." she whispers, burying her face into his chest.

"Hey Z." Hazel sits down beside her, resting a hand on her shoulder softly.

Slowly Zeppelynn pulls herself from Zane's chest, turning to face Hazel, instantly concerned with the hesitancy in her blue eyes.

"I hate to have to say this now, clearly you've had a pretty shit day." Hazel sighs, "But Doctor Jensen and I had a talk today and your leg isn't going to be here anytime soon. Your appointments have been put on indefinite hold with the non-emergency cancelations, and I don't have any idea when we will be able to get you back in to work on even therapy really. It will mostly be remote workouts and self accountability to continue to strengthen your body. And the leg really is just on pause until California, the country, the world, can get back into control with the virus."

"Great." Zeppelynn sighs, burying herself back into Zane's chest. She hadn't assumed today could get any worse, but as the universe liked to do, she had been proven wrong yet again.

"Hey Lynn?" Zane asks quietly, stroking his hand through her hair softly.

"What." she sighs, really not in any sort of good mood now.

"You want to go home for a bit?"

"We are home Zane."

"No." He chuckles softly, "Do you want to go back to Vegas with me for a bit? If we can't work, and you can't do your therapy or work on your leg for a while... Maybe a few weeks in Vegas would be a change in scenery and time with your dad might be good."

"You're going home?"

"I was thinking about it." He nods.

"Let's go." she nods, the smallest of smiles teasing at the edges of her lips.

"First thing in the morning we will."
