Sunshine

Nico's pov

Nico had been feeling down lately, because Bianca's birthday was this week. He wanted to hug her and tell her how much he loved her, but he couldn't. He sighed and planned stayed in his cabin for the whole week.

After three days of not leaving his cabin, his boyfriend came in and started cuddling with him.

"It's okay. She knows how much you love her. I bet she's watching over you." He whispers in Nico's ear.

A tear slides down his cheek. "I feel like nobody loves me." Nico admits out loud, his voice cracking.

"Nico, how could you ever think that? I love you."

Nico shoves his head further into Will's neck. "Bianca had to give up boys-give up me, to join the hunters and yet she still did it. Everyone didn't care what I was doing when I left camp, they were glad I was gone. And you-you're probably getting your feelings confused with pity."

Will gasped. "Nico, do you always feel like this?" Will plays with Nico's hair, soothing the boy.

"Not always, but when I remember Bianca, it kicks in."

Will kisses Nico's head. "Close your eyes."

Nico looked up, "why?"

"Because I'm going to show you how much I love you." Nico sighed and gave in, closing his eyes.

Will began to sing, even though Nico knew he was cautious about his voice. He was a child of Apollo and didn't find his voice good enough, while Nico found it beautiful.

Will kissed Nico's head. "That is how much I love you. I can't live without you." Nico felt tears in his eyes as he leaned in to kiss Will. The kiss was sweet and short. Will quickly kissed Nico's tears away.
