or Five Times Tony Tried to Prove Clint and Nat are Together and One Time They Confirmed It

Part One

At the Shawarma diner, after the New York battle, is the first time Tony became suspicious of Nat and Clint.

Tony watched as she stared down Hawkeye, who looked ready to pass out at any moment. The two were partners before they joined the Avengers, so the team was used to their unique relationship.

But that wasn't it. Little things have been catching Tony's eye, especially when it comes to his mysterious Natalie Rushman.

At the restaurant, Hawkeye propped his leg on Nat's chair, nudging her with his boot. Tony expected her to shove his leg off or punch him, but instead she moved to make more room.

Interesting.

Stark's eyes swept the table to see if the other's noticed but they were either too tired(Steve) or too hungry(Thor and Bruce) to pay attention.

When Nat stood to leave, Clint immediately followed, towering over her small frame. It was the closeness that intrigued Tony. How the two could walk or stand within millimeters of each other yet never touch. His mind began to churn.

Crawling into bed that night, Tony asked his suspicions to the air.

"Jarvis, location of Agent Baron?"

"Agent Barton is in his room, Sir."

"Location of Agent Romanov?"

"Tony!" Pepper exclaimed.

"What? I have a hunch." He told her.

"Ms. Romanov is in her quarters."

"Huh..."

Pepper gave her husband a stern look.

"There is something going on between them and I'm going to prove it." He said, giving her a quick peck.

Pepper just sighed.
