Chapter 23

 ‘Another invite...should I go or not?’ the Nurse thought to himself as he looked through the emails that came to the school mail for him. Currently the (h/c)ette was walking down the hallways of the elementary school part of Ouran, as he read some of the mail that came in for him. The only reason (M/n) was here in this part of the school was because the elementary school nurse had to leave the school because of a family emergency, and guess who was the next best thing.

 With a sigh, the (h/c)ette did his job and decided to check the other nurse’s office, just in case a kid is hurt. As the Nurse walk down the hallway, now filled with kids, he saw what look like Honey and Haruhi dressed up as either middle schoolers or elementary kids, hiding behind the walls, while the children stare at them like they were stupid.

 ….

 The Nurse quickly turned around and was speed walking away from the scene, definitely not planning on getting caught by the Host club. ‘These idiots are on a different level than what I’m used to. How is that possible- wait I know how,’ (M/n) blanked at his thought, realising that it is his fault that he had let Nine, Tamaki and the Things to meet each other. Maybe, just maybe if he didn’t let them meet, maybe his life would be easier...yeah let’s stop dreaming.

 In seconds, the male had escaped and found his way into his fellow nurse’s office, hoping and praying that he would be able to relax in here before he had to go to the clubroom and do his hostly duties.

  (M/n) let out a sigh of relief, when he realised that there was no one inside, which means he was free until later on. “Yep, this is definitely going to be my next hiding spot. Ahh...might as well take some zs before I have to go back,” the Nurse yawned as he walked towards the little beds that were here. Now normally a person would have seen those child sized beds and not try to sleep on them in fear that they might break. But (M/n) isn’t a normal person.

 The Nurse yawned again, before he kicked one of the beds into another, making enough room for his figure to lay on it, even though his feet will be sticking out of it. Once that was done, the male fell on the beds and instantly fell asleep.

An hour or two later

 “(M/n)-Sensei, wake up.”

 The Nurse groaned and turned away from the voice, trying to stay in dreamland a little longer, only to be forcefully woken up by a hand shaking him.

 “Fuck. Okay, I’m up, I’m up...how did you find me, Rei?” the (h/c)ette yawned as he rubbed his eyes, disappointed that Thing 2 had found him, which means that the club might need him. The dirty blonde shook his head at the sight before him and answered his friend’s question. “Nine was looking for you and was about to enter. You’re lucky I told him that I saw you back in your office, otherwise you would have cuddled with him at the moment.”

 Hearing that, the Nurse thanked the younger male as he stood up from the bed, kinda ready to deal with whatever stupid stunt the club had pulled, just so they can help that little boy. The Manager smiled as he exited the room, knowing that the older male would follow after him.

 “So, how was your nap, (M/n)-Sensei,” the Dirty Blonde asked the Nurse, once he had caught up with him. Honesty, Rei doesn't know how to react in this situation, usually the only time he would be around the other male, was when there were others around as well. This truly was the first time, he and the Nurse are alone together.

 “I had the best nap of my life. So what are those bone heads up to?” the Nurse asked as he dug through his pockets, hoping to find a lollipop to snack on. Thankfully, the (h/c)ette did, just as Rei opened his mouth. “They found out that Shiro had a crush on a girl, who’s moving away next week, so Tamaki is going to be training him from now on in the ways of playing piano.”

 (M/n) hummed around the candy in his mouth at those words. The duo was now almost near the Host club’s doors, when Rei was done explaining. Really, the only reason the (h/c)ette asked was so he can avoid the little boy, because he still hasn't forgiven the little shit for spilling the coffee.

 Yes, the Nurse sure as hell will hold a grudge no matter how long, no matter how petty the thing is.

 Anyway the duo enter the clubroom, just in time to see Tamaki playing a piece on a piano that he never saw in this room the whole time he was here, before having Shiro do the same piece. The sight was blowing the Nurse’s mind, look he did hear the words that Rei had told him, but it didn’t mean that he had actually heard the words if you get what I mean. Meanwhile Haruhi had to hold in the urge to choke the other members of the club as they told him that the piano was always in here and that this is a music room after all.

 “My Love! You’re here!”

 “Yeah. And I’m gone.”

 And with that the (h/c)ette turned back around, ready to go home for the day.

A week later

  “Watch as how the brat goes and takes everyone’s customers after getting over she leaves,” the Nurse pointed out with a blueberry sucker, as he and everyone else watch as Shiro plays a piece with his crush. “I’m pretty sure he's only going to go after Tamaki’s.” Rei said, as he recorded the cute little scene, after being asked by Shiro. “Yeah with how he acted with Tamaki-Sempai, it won’t be surprising,” Haruhi added his two cents in as they watch the two little kids smile at each other.

 After that, Shiro said goodbye to his crush with little tears in his eyes, while she gave him a hug goodbye. With that, Shiro’s request came to a happy ending.

10 days laters

 “Pft-called it! Hahaha!” the Nurse was laughing at the scene in front of him, watching how Shiro was taking pretty much everyone’s customers, though most of them were Tamaki’s.

 Nine and some of their customers cooed at the sight, while the red headed twins were holding Tamaki back from attacking Shiro. Rei semiled at the sight of the Nurse laughing, not noticing that his face had gained a little blush.

 Renge nodded her head to Shiro’s progress, proud that her hard work had paid off, before glancing at her brother, ready to tell him what they should do next, only to see the blush faintly coating his cheeks. With wide eyes, she quickly looked at what her twin was staring at and saw that it was the Nurse, who was now in a sense teasing Tamaki. ‘Could it be?! That my dense brother is slowly noticing his feelings for that bully?!’ Renge thought to herself, in suprised.
