Harry was reading in his chair by the window. A small creak alerted him to the girl entering, he looked up and beamed.

"Ginny!" Standing up Harry held the book he was reading out to her. "Look a what I'm reading!" Ginny smiled at him, brushing some of her startling red hair back over her shoulder. She glanced at the number on the binding of the book,

"Level five, that's improving really well, great job Harry!" He grinned up at her proudly.

"And they're letting me do so much on my own, they're even saying that they might start thinking about when to let me go! How great will that be?!" Ginny's smile changed, it seemed slightly forced as it stretched across her lips.

"Yeah that's great Harry," trying to fein happiness in her voice. Harry however, didn't notice he was too busy picturing what the world was like outside of these walls.

"I can live somewhere, and I can see you and Ron and Hermione all the time. Maybe I can even go to work with you! Maybe I can even go to Ron and Hermione's wedding! They said they were going to invite me!" Ginny watched Harry speak, a small smile played on her lips as she watched Harry's eyes dancing alight with excitement.

"About that...you may not be able to see us all the time Harry, Ron and Hermione are getting married, I have to work and you have your own life to build Harry, you can buy your own place, get to know new people, get your own job. And I'll promise you this Harry, whenever you need me, I'll be there for you. Okay?" Ginny had brought Harry over to the bed by this point and was sitting next to him, her hand squeezing his knee gently. He thought for a minute before replying,

"Okay." With a small smile.

Ginny smiled back, "Good. So what do you want to do now? How about we go downstairs and get some ice cream?" Harry grinned broadly,

"Let's go get ice cream!" He scanned his bracelet against the scanner on his door to show he was leaving the room and Ginny entered the pin to show he was accompanied and together they left. They took the lift because as Harry claimed,

"It makes your stomach drop so much it's like we're flying in a box!" Ginny laughed every time she heard this statement. So leaning against the rail in the life Harry asked,

"If you could fly, what do you think it would feel like?" Ginny paused for a moment, thinking.

"I think it would feel like magic. You'd loose yourself in the wind, you wouldn't worry about anything, you'd just fly." Harry listened in rapture before saying softly,

"I wish I could fly." And Ginny wished she could say what was going through her mind:

You can.
