New Student's Invention

I was at the main campus, getting something to drink before my walk up to my classroom, when I felt someone staring at me. I glanced over to see that it was Asano, which was a bit weird. He doesn't really acknowledge anyone from the E class, unless it's to make an example out of them. I turned towards him, arching a brow at him.

"Something you need, Asano?"

"Just curious how someone like you, with no behavioral issues, and no lousy grades, managed to end up in E class with that Akabane."

I was surprised to know that he actually looked into my record, but clearly he doesn't know everything. I just shook my head, smiling to myself. I noticed that his eyebrows furrowed, and I just giggled to myself at his reaction.

"You wouldn't get it, and you wouldn't believe me even if I explained it to you. Now, I have to get going, or I'll be late. See you around, Asano."

I turned away from him, walking towards the mountain to where my classes were held. I haven't had the chance to talk to Itona yet, so today I plan on talking to him a little bit. Just to make sure that he doesn't think I hate him or anything like that. 

I was almost at my class, when I saw a ferret chasing a mini tank, which I thought was an odd sight. I walked over in front of the tank, letting it zoom under me, and I picked up the ferret, calming it down.

"It's just a little tank, it can't even hurt you. Now, how about we leave it alone, so I can take it back to my class and give it back to whoever brought it today?"

I set the ferret down, and it ran in the opposite direction, causing me to smile. I then turned towards the tank, picking it up carefully so that I wouldn't damage it. Then, I went back to walking towards the building. I soon saw it in my sight, and I walked into our homeroom, seeing a bunch of boys with their noses bleeding for some reason.

"Uh, hey guys. I found a tank outside running from a ferret. Who does the tank belong to exactly?"

"Uh Sakura, you should probably destroy that tank."

I looked over at Nagisa, who said that with a rather awkward expression on his face. He's making me feel awkward just from seeing it honestly.

"Why should I do that? Is it a defect or something?"

"Let's just say that the guys were using it for something dirty."

I was confused on what he was meaning for a moment, then it clicked and I was absolutely disgusted. I felt the tank being taken out of my hands and I looked up to see a very angry Karma. He tore the tank apart, and he dropped it on Itona's desk.

"Next time, keep that thing away from girlfriend. Otherwise, that will be you guys."

The guys shuddered, knowing that Karma would actually keep to his threat. Karma then walked over to me, and he kissed me with a smirk on his face. I smiled at him, holding his hand while we took our seats next to each other. He pushed his seat to mine, so we could hold hands easier.

Eventually though, Karma decided to give Itona a good place for him to ditch for the day, which I honestly shouldn't be surprised about. When it comes to ditching school, Karma is the master that's for sure.

"You know, you have a pretty girly name Sakura."

"It's just a flowery name, nothing really weird about it. Although, I guess it's a tradition in my family for all the girls to have more flowery names. My mom just kept to the tradition, and my dad went along with it."

Karma glanced at me when I mentioned my dad, and I saw the confusion in his eyes. I knew he would want to ask more about that later on, but I wasn't going to talk about that when our classmates were around. That's just too awkward for my tastes honestly.I just gave him a smile, shaking my head and focused on the conversation at hand.

"Hey Itona! I hope you are settling in alright. It seems like you are though, all the guys seem to like you, even Karma does!"

"Yeah, I guess. It was easy, and we all have one common goal in mind. To kill the octopus, even if it takes a hundred tries to do it."

I smiled at the renewed Itona, knowing that he was going to fit in just fine with the rest of us. We really do have the same drive that he does, that's for sure. We all want to kill Koro-sensei before March.

"You never really mention your dad that much. I don't even know much about him, all I really know is that he died back in our first year at school together."

"Well, how do I explain this without you getting too angry? He was a really bad drunk, so bad that he used me as his punching bag. But he ended up dying due to his excessive drinking, so I ended up pretty alright. I just hate when people drink around me."

I couldn't really look at Karma as I told him all of this, I didn't know what his reaction would be honestly. I may be able to guess at what his reaction may be, but sometimes he does the complete opposite which throws me in for a loop.

"Come here."

I looked up at Karma to see him with his arms stretched out, and I walked over to him, to feel his arms wrap around me in a hug. I wrapped my arms around his torso, and looked up at him confused.

"I thought you would have wanted to punch something after hearing about my dad."

"I still do, but he's dead. Instead, I'll just hold you like you've done for me. You always know what to do when I'm feeling a bit lonely, since my parents are usually gone on business trips. Guess our roles are reversed for the day, huh?"

I smiled at that, resting my head against Karma's chest. In a way, I guess things are a bit different now than they usually are.

"I guess they could be a tad different, for today. Who knew that you could be such a softie around me?"

"Only for you, flower."

"If our classmates saw you right now, they would die from a heart attack."

Karma chuckled at the thought, shaking his head.

"Then they wouldn't be able to kill Koro-sensei."

"True."
