|| hello lovelies. Hope you are doing good and are well ||

In the last chapter, we discussed mental appearance, i.e., mindset. So we know that mental appearance is interrelated with physical and academic appearance. And it is the most crucial factor among all.

In this chapter, we will be talking about one of the other factors, i.e., physical appearance, how to overcome self-doubt and get full of self-love, self-sufficiency, self-confidence, and self-respect, and solving some misconceptions

Physical appearance is simply how we look or present ourselves to the outer world. Nowadays, people are more open-minded and thus there is less bullying about how you look, i.e, body shaming. But in our hearts, we all know how we want to look. We all secretly wish to be a little leaner or a little thicker. And sometimes, we feel a little embarrassed about ourselves even though we don't accept it. We love ourselves but sometimes that pressure we get by looking at how others look or the indirect comments dropped at us by our relatives or family members weakens our bonds with ourselves. And sometimes leads to a mental breakdown and we start to think about how we are not good enough. This is the reality.

We show that we are comfortable with ourselves and people's comments don't affect us, but in reality, sometimes there are jokes made on how you look like a potato or a carrot in a gathering and you laugh along when on the inside you feel low, you think about arguing with them but just keep your mouth quiet or sometimes when you actually say something to them, they reply with "we were just joking, don't mind us" but you do. you do mind them. You don't like how they comment on your body like they own you.

Now let's discuss what we can do to sheet their mouths for good

Now let's discuss what we can do to sheet their mouths for good.

The first and foremost thing you need to do is grow self-confidence, I know it's not a thing that can happen overnight but start, start now. Look at yourself in the mirror say what you love about yourself and how you love yourself for being you. This will help you to boost your confidence. The second step is to Don't let others walk on you, stand up for yourself because this is your body, they don't get to comment on your body. Now that you have grown self-love and self-confidence about your body and you know that you are self-sufficient don't let them comment on your thinness or thickness or tallness or shortness. This is you. They like you or not is their choice, what they comment or what they take out of their mouths is their choice but what they talk about YOU is not their choice, they can't come to you and say what you should do to get this. Don't let them walk on you. Say. Talk. Comment. Argue. You can do so, just like they do so. Don't be embarrassed about how you look, you look gorgeous/handsome/beautiful. Make them embarrassed about what they take out of their mouths, make them feel small, uncomfortable, hideous for talking down on you. This is what you should do first.

Now that our self-love, self-sufficiency, self-confidence, and self-respect are increased. Let's talk about ourselves. What we can do for ourselves, not for those societal pressure.

I think that as long as there are no health issues, you are good to go. But if you have any health issues or you want to work on yourself or you have a little self-doubt. let's talk about that.

there are some things that I want to write for you guys to read because I think there are some misconceptions about them. So I would love to clear them.

The first thing is a healthy diet. There is no such thing as a diet. Let me explain clearly. For example, you (take as an example) think that you had a lot of unhealthy food this week or weekend and think that now I will eat healthy for a week to make up for it. NO, there is no such thing. If you think that there is a function coming up and you want to lose a few pounds, and you need a healthy diet. Then there is no such thing. Because a healthy diet is nothing but a misconception. If you think that you need to work on yourself and become healthy; then start eating healthy, make it to your lifestyle, make it a habit. There is a saying that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. So you want to work on yourself? take an oath for yourself, not for others, not for any society, not for any societal pressure or any comments, but you and only you; to start eating healthy for 21 days, and then it will hopefully become a habit. And for your information, eating healthy doesn't mean boiled veggies or oats, it means having balanced nutrition in your body, and of course, you can get some unhealthy snacks once in a while. And don't worry it won't make you weigh more, have healthy food ( which is balanced nutrition) and some unhealthy food ( on weekends or once in a while) and surely you will achieve your goal.

The second thing is workout exercise. It is not written anywhere that only chubby people need to work out and that thin people become more thing if they workout. This is again, a misconception. Workout is for everyone. it helps to make you feel ready and there is a booze of energy in your body after you work out, which helps you to not get lazy. If you start your day with a workout out a little even for just 10 min, then you will feel content with your heart racing, it will make you feel productive and full of energy. Working out also helps to reduce the chances of many diseases, helps to increase immunity, helps to increase stamina, and so on. So if you think you are lacking in any of the fields, that is, feeling content, being full of energy or you think that your immunity or stamina is weak; then this is your point where you can start working out. Also, working out helps you to lose weight and doesn't make you thinner if you already are. It also helps to increase muscles, thus weight gain for those who want to and weight loss for those who want to. Hence, next time someone comes up to you and says that working out is waste of time then give them a pep talk. :p
