Her father left before she was born, her mother had to work two jobs just to keep them afloat, and her older sister had committed suicide when she was 16.
Some would say its the perfect formula for a criminal. An addict. It was just how the world worked, and it couldn't be helped.
PETER PARKER saw it differently. He saw a beautiful, talented girl with a well-meaning heart and the potential to do good.
ZEBEDIAH KILGRAVE also saw her differently. To him, she was a weapon, a pawn, a slave.
