the consequences of the classes actions, furthered by cherry's skipping, were horrible.
if was only 5 in the morning, and sensei had ordered them to show up in some random location or they were off the team.
cherry was trying to avoid the concrete getting into her hair.
"don't add too much water. you wanna make it nice and thick." sensei instructed.
aisha grunted, trying to move it.
"sensei, why are we mixing cement?" miguel asked, which only furthered cherry's complaining.
"no questions, keep going." sensei ignored him.
hawk and mia were working together to mix the cement, their hands touching.
their oddly romantic moment was cut off when the horn of a cement truck blew.
"oh hell no." cherry threw her gloves down. "i'm not mixing more fucking cement."
she wouldn't be.
sensei instructed her and the rest of the students to line up in front of the truck.
