You and what ever imperial forces in the local sectors were 'chosen' for a crusade to make another passage through the great rift to the other side and reconnect with another part of the imperium and on there very first planetary assault...it was a trap as multiple fleets of starships belonging to chaos undivided pounced on the crusade as deception at the same time was in the crusade as multiple ships in the crusade turned on the few loya forces left now your forces trapped on some godforsaken world as they were actively hunted like wild animals by the traitor forces on the planet. Now in one of the few camps of imperial forces left sits a guardsman reminiscing on how faithful she was when she was told she was being chosen sighing the guardsman continued her patrol around the camp.
