he was a few feet away, drinking something and staring.
"you guys should go make out with each other." cherry joked.
before mia could reply, hawk walked over to them.
surprisingly, his voice was actually heard over the loud carnival rides.
"hey, mia. do you wanna go on the ferris wheel?" hawk questioned. "not in a weird way."
"nobody said it was in a weird way-" cherry pointed out.
"shut up! yes or no?" hawk stated his original question.
"sure." mia stood up.
mia wondered how cherry would feel alone, but cherry rushed them to go anyways.
cherry hated being alone, but her friends being happy was much more important than how she felt.
the empty seats next to her made her feel slightly awkward.
a voice called out to her, snapping her from her own thoughts.
"hey, cherry." robby greeted.
"hi." cherry replied, in a monotone voice.
