Chapter 2: Strange.

  "Ugh..." Alex slowly opens his eyes and sits up, holding his head in pain. He notices the water bottle on his nightstand which caused him to smile a little. 'I know she has a heart.' He takes it and opens it only to somehow use too much strength and crush the whole thing. "Uh-" His eyes widen. "Have I become the hulk?" He looks at his skin, seeing it his normal skin tone. "Huh..." He gets up. 

  He actually didn't feel thirsty at all anymore. Maybe he was just tired. 

  Alex leaves the room and searches for you. He looks at the living room's clock, seeing it read 7:45 PM. He slept quite a while... Eventually, he heard the shower running in the bathroom. "Ah, shower." He nods. "Alright, well I should get something to eat while I wait for her to get out." With that said, he walks straight into the kitchen.

  After you got out and found Alex in the kitchen, you both started talking. He surprisingly had some very useful information to tell you.

  "So the zombies can breed...?" "Mhm." He stuffs his sandwich in his mouth. Once he chews then swallows, he speaks up again, "They're called breeders, but only an alpha zombie can breed with them. "An... Alpha zombie...?" "Hm?" His eyes widen. "You haven't seen an alpha zombie?" "No." You shake your head and he thinks for a bit. "An alpha zombie is stronger than the others. They'll always have red eyes and they're bigger too. They're attracted to a breeder's sweet scent." He takes another bite.

  "Sounds like actual wild animals, heh..." You sigh. "Shit, this is gonna be harder than I thought..." "Oh, get this!" He suddenly speaks up again, "A human can be a breeder!" "Da fuck?!" Your eyes widen and he chuckles. "Last week, a woman named Cathrine fell in love with a handsome guy called Timmy. Turns out he was an alpha and he used her for breeding. We had to kill them both, but I felt bad for the girl. Alphas are smarter than the rest too because nobody noticed he was a zombie at all."

  Your eyes were now like two plates and your mouth was wide open. "I... I can't..." "Heh, Badass.Exe has stopped working." "Shut up!" You grab a nearby oven mitt and throw it at him. "Hey!" He chuckles, finding your reactions so cute and amusing. "And it's Y/n..." You grumble lowly and he gasps. "And so the tsundere finally states her name!" "UGH!!" You tackle him but he was stronger so he didn't move. "Dammit!!" You punch his chest and he watches in amusement, eating his delicious sandwich.

He knew you weren't trying to hurt him because the punches weren't hurting at all. You were going gentle for him which was kind of cute. 

  So maybe that's why you didn't want him to join... You care too easily. 

  'I get it...' He watches as you continue to punch. 'You just wanted to protect yourself from the pain of losing someone... You won't lose me.' He chuckles quietly. 'I'm stubborn.'

  Once you calmed down, you blush a bit since you noticed he had an amused smirk. "You done?" "Fuck off..." You growl lowly and fold your arms, looking away.

  "I've always wanted my own tsundere~" He says and you punch him hard this time. "Ow! T-too far?" "Yes. Hmph."

  Alex looks at your annoyed face and blushes a little. "I hope we can be best friends, Y/n." "Never." You glare at him, keeping your wall up. He smiles and looks away. "I get it... You don't want to get hurt if you lose me... That's why," He looks back at you. "That's why you won't lose me."

  You keep quiet, wanting to believe him. Really, you did. Unfortunately though, you believe he will be dead by the end of this weekend...
