Chapter 1 : The Pain Of Betrayal

The fresh air hugged my face as I walked out of the plane. Finally after long waiting I am back again. I couldn't hold my exitement anymore. I did not told him about my arrival that simply because I want to give him a huge surprise. Collecting my luggages I dragged my Delsey behind me as I finally exited the airport. Finally after longing for these months I am going to meet him again. My heart filled with warmth whenever I think about him.

My fiance, and also the love of my life. It has been 3 years since we get engaged. Though we both are young and gradually starting our career so we decided to keep it a little pause and enjoy the life of being an engaged couple. Our relationship is not something bloomed with love but it's actually an arrangement by our parents.

I fell in love with him when I first saw him in the cafe we were meeting for first time. He is a kind of cold hearted, never showed his emotions on his face. Though we are engaged but we have not gone in any kind of romantic date. He always engaged himself in his work and barely makes any fee time for me. It was I who seek for his attention, doing everything that could make him happy at least a small smile on that cold and handsome face.

I sighed, I wonder even if we get married will he ever be a little warm towards me and my feeling? I want to give everything I have, the best I could do for him to keep him happy but sometimes I feel like everything I do don't effect him at all. Shaking my head I bought some flowers from flowers hop on my way. The fresh flower smells pretty good. I smiled before I looked outside the window enjoying the passing city view. It will take 30 minutes to his office. I wonder what he is doing right now?

"Mam, we are here" the driver's voice snapped me out of my thought. I was so engrossed that I did not know when I already reached his company building. I hurried paid before getting out of the cab.

The huge building stood there with its glory with a huge name plate at center. 'King Corporation' was written with a eye catching calligraphy. He might be inside still working. I hope my visit won't disturb his work. I won't take too much time, just wanted to greet him before went back to home. Clutching the flower bouquet on my chest I dragged my luggage as I  strode inside.

The office hall is bustling with crowd and there's many whispers around it. I walk towards the receptionist are and saw a blonde woman typing something on her PC. She looked up once she felt my presence.

"How can I help you mam?" She voiced politely yet in professional tone. I really liked her attitude.

I smiled "I would like to meet Mr. King, is he busy?"

"Do you have any appointments?" She asked.

I shook my head "uh..no.. I mean, he don't know about my arrival. I want to give him surprise"

She looked at me for few seconds "you are..."

"I am Elysha Foster, his finance" I cleared her confusion.

"Oh.." her eyes widened as she stood up abruptly "I am sorry mam, sir is not busy. You can meet him"

Then she called someone on phone and few minutes later a man dressed in suit walked towards us.

"Rochar, please take Ms. Foster to CEO's cabin" the receptionist ordered.

"Please this way mam" The man named Rochar gestured me. I nodded and left my luggage in waiting area before allowing him to lead the way. He took me to a VIP elevator to reach on top floor. Once the 'ding' sound echoed Rochar stepped outside.

"The first room from this line, is boss's cabin mam please proceed"

I nodded and thanked him. He walked inside the elevator again before disappearing. These stuffs are really too polite. I really like them. No arrogance or any kind of attitude. I sighed before clutching the flowers and looking at my dress. My knee lenth coat dress wrinkled at little due to the journey. Shaking my head I head towards the room.
