I was at my desk, clicking my pen over and over again

Damn it, I can't think of any rhythm or words to start a new song, my deadline is tomorrow and I need to practice a song as well

I massage my head from all the stress that I was consuming

Being a masked celebrity is frustrating

After thinking to myself for a few seconds I get a text from my phone that gleamed brightly and looked at it

I look at the message and my eyes linger  back to the blank paper and I text her I'm free and where to meet up after deciding what to do

She reply's with "a meet at the park soon" and I quickly get some cover up clothes so people wouldn't recognize me with a black mask

[y/n] was my friend since highschool and always supported me and my dreams and after I got my fame, we difted apart, it wasn't on purpose, I still missed her and she one of the few people who knew I was no name, the famous singer. I also had a crush on her but I never had the guts to confess my undying love to her

After getting ready I walk to the park as it was very close to we're I lived in my "singer mansion" and see a [h/c]  haired colored girl awaiting me all alone on a wooden bench

" Oi brat" I yell from afar

She jerks her head to me and excitedly waves for me to sit next to her

" hey Levi!" She waves once more as I get closer to her

I sit down next to her

" what's up" I say sitting down next to her

She looks at me nervously and plays around with her fingers

" well your looking nice..." she starts

" I know " I say trying to act obvious

" also... I...um have a boyfriend!" She exclaims with a huge smile plastered on her face

I looked her with wide eyes and felt sadness rush over me like wildfire

What seriously?? With who?? You really can never appreciate something until it's gone...I quote in my mind

" oh good for you..." is all I reply sounding a bit more hurt than what I wanted to sound like

" yeah! His handsome and sweet and takes care of me so well! We have been dating for a month in secret" She explains happily

" what's his name" I almost whisper

" oh his name is [b/n] and I think I 'm falling a bit to hard " [y/n] said giggling and blushing

I stare with sad eyes as I observe the light in her eyes
