Just want anyone to care
The sadness filling inside
Is getting to much to bear
Where are the loving arms
The kisses that are not there
The emptiness is transforming
Into utter despair
Shouts are all that's heard
Kind words have been misplaced
All actions are rewarded
With harshness and distaste
Sobs escaping loudly
Begging to be set free
Yet no ones there to listen
To the heart wrenching plea
crouching in a corner
As the hot tears slip through
Allowing the hurt to sink deeper
The agony to start anew
