Lydia's POV-
I woke up to Sprint closing the door and putting clothrs on the end of the bed.
"I see Sleepin' Beauty finally woke up! How did ya sleep?" she said grinning.
"Ha! Like a rock. Are those are new clothes?" I said gesturing to the pile of clothes at the end of my bed.
"Yup! I know they arent much but they is all the clothes we got, so see what fits ya and come downstairs to the lounge." she said closing the door behind her.
"Psst Nat wake up." I said shaking her.
"Five more min- Wait!! We get to sell today!!!" she squealed.
"Ow! God ya dont have ta yell in ma ear!" i said holding my head.
"Sorry." she said smiling, jumpng down from the top bunk.
"Here try whatever looks like it'll fit ya." I said gesturing towards the pile of clothes.
"Okay."
I searched through the pile to find anything that was at least pretty. Wait who am I kidding these are Newsie clothes. I cant wait for Sundays when we supposedly get a day off and dress like girls.I found a blue and white striped shirt, a grey vest, black pants, a pair of brown workshoes, and grey nNewsie cap.
"There how do I look?" I said turning to Natalie.
"Like a Newsie." she said smiling.
"Do ya need help?"
"Na, I'm good. Go catch up with your crush. I'll meet you down stairs." She said pretending to be responsible.
"And who would that be miss?" I said putting my hands on my hips.
"Mush." she said giggling as I blushed as red as a tomato.
"Ya right, you sure do got a big imagination there." I said going out the door
"Don't deny it! It's true love!" she yelled at me
"What was that about" Mush said as I passed him in the hall
"None of your bussiness" I replied tartly, noicin gthat he was shirtless 'He's cute......maybe even hot......WHAT?!?!?!? Snap out of it Lydia!!' I thought to my self
"Why cant it be? I asked so now its part of my business." he said smirking
"Nothing now will you please move." I said rolling my eyes
"Only if you tell me what happened," he said blocking the stairs.
'What was this guys problem? Why is he so interested?' She thought to her self.
"Okay fine she had a dream where our mom and dad got back together. Happy?" i replied lying through my teeth.
"Okay.." he said eyeing me.
"Can I go downstairs now?" I said putting my hands on my hips
"Yea I guess." he said moving out of my way
"Thanks" i said walking downstairs
"Oh and Lydia?" he called from behind
"What may I assist you in now. I said turning around glaring at him
"You look cute in that." He said with a wink as he ran p the stairs.
"You know you just complimentd yourself practically!" I yelled at him. God he annoyed me so. Wait a second am I blushing?? No no no no no Snap out of it Lydia you cant let Mush and Nat win!
