8. Payback

Jay laughed at Sunghoon's post and then put his phone down. They were all getting ready to go swimming out at the private beach from infront of their cabin.

Sunoo was helping Niki make some snacks so that they could have a little picnic on the sand before Jake and Sunghoon barbecue for dinner.

As Jay was digging for his swimwear, he remembered back to this morning. The feeling of warmth in Jungwon's eyes and how he AMOST held his hand.

"Urgh, idiot, you should've quickly grabbed it." He began beating himself up about it, regretting moving to slowly.

"Jay you're so slow, we'll be out there." Heeseung shouted from the living room.

Jungwon walked out the door with the rest of the boys, leaving Jay inside. Sunoo took a notice in Jungwon's mood and decided to question him. "You're being weird, what happened with you and Jay."

The younger scoffed. "Nothing happened and I'm completely fine." Sunoo knew his friend very well and could definitely tell something was up.

"Did you guys kiss or something?" That made Jungwon's face go red. "No! We didn't... we just...had a weird staring contest this morning before YOU barged into the room."

Jungwon looked down at his hand and sighed. Sunoo's eyes followed and then he realized what he was upset about. "YOU GUYS ALMOST HELD HANDS-"

Not expecting the loud shouting from his Hyung, he quickly covered his mouth and Sunoo began humming through Jungwon's hand.

"Shhh. Yeah, we almost held hands until you came in." Sunoos eyes widened and Jungwon took his hand off of his mouth. "Oops."

The younger squinted and then picked Sunoo up. "Um SIR WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" The boy became panicked when he saw that they were getting closer to the water.

"Payback for ruining my shot to hold Jay's hand." Jungwon quickly ran into the water and threw Sunoo in.

"How rude. The water is cold too you brat." Jungwon scoffed and left Sunoo standing in the water.

Jay finally made his way out of the cabin and headed towards the beach where everyone else was. The evening sky was just perfect and there was a slight breeze. Not too cold but it tied everything together.
