Chapter 17: Moving the tanker

Y/N's POV

Me and Clem walked to the train station. Clem ran to the door and tried to open it.

Y/N: You should wait for me before you open doors.

Clementine: Sorry.

Y/N: Luckily it's locked. We'll get better at being a team. The window is open up there.

Clementine: Lift me, I might get in there.

I put Clem on my shoulders as Clem looks in the window.

Clementine: It's dark.

Y/N: We could get the door open if you could--

Clementine: I unlocked it.

Y/N: You did?

Clementine: Yeah. I think so.

I put her down.

Y/N: Good job Clem.

She gives me a smile. I smile back.

Clementine: Thanks Y/N.

We open the door.

Clementine: Let's be careful.

Y/N: I should be telling you that.

I said smiling. Clem smiles back. We walk in. It was dark inside.

Y/N: Damn, it's dark in here.

Clementine: I could hold the door.

Y/N: I don't like that. Let's hold it with something.

I use a wrench to keep the door open.

Y/N: There is some space up there. But not much.

Clementine: We are lucky that I am so little.

Y/N: Yeah, we are.

I lift Clem up and she goes over the fence.

Y/N: Grab the keys.

Then Clem looked at me scared.

Clementine: Behind you!

I see a walker behind me.

Y/N: Fuck.

I got my gun out, but another walker takes me down. I crawl to the wrench and attack the walkers on me. I get up. Clem was holding Her gun in fear, she was shaking.

Y/N: It's okay... It's okay... everything's fine.

There was another walker where Clem was.

Y/N: KEYS NOW!

She takes it and gives it to me as I open the door. Clem was still scared while holding the gun. I take it from her, pull her behind me, and I shoot the walker.

Y/N: Well.

Clementine: That did not go good.

Y/N: No it did not. But we are okay.

Clem still looked sad.

Clementine: I could not use the gun.

I put a hand on her shoulder.

Y/N: It's okay Clem. You will get better at it.

Now she smiles. We hear Christa from the other side of the train station door.

Christa: What's going on? I thought I heard a gunshot.

Y/N: We're fine.

She walks in and sees the dead walkers.

Y/N: We found some walkers.

Christa: You and her versus three of them, huh?

Y/N: We handled it.

Christa: Yeah, it looks like. What if you hadn't? I'm going to make sure the noise didn't cause us any problems.

Clementine: That's a good idea.

Christa smiles at her then walks to the door, then she turns around.

Christa: I hope you know what you are doing with them.

Y/N: Me too.

Christa: For her sake.

She walks out and I grab anblowtorch. We then leave. Clem walked back to the train as I went back up to deal with the tanker. We look outside to see a big herd of walkers coming for us. It was the biggest amount of walkers I have ever seen. The tanker dropped as Kenny started the train. I jumped on top of the train and got in. Omid fucked his leg up on the landing. Christa got off the train to help him, then they ran back. I helped Omid as Christa got in herself.

Y/N: You guys okay.

Omid: My leg is fucked!

Christa: We are fine.

Small Timeskip

We were on the train about to get to Savannah. I look Clem, she was sleeping on the chair. I smile at the sight. Kenny walked in, he looks at the window.

Kenny: Next stop, the Atlantic.

Y/N: We have to find a boat. We just have to.

Kenny: We will.

Y/N: You'll be all right.

Kenny: I'll be alive, I guess. Blood in my heart, blood in my brain at least.

Y/N: I'll leave you to your thoughts.

I look back at Clem.

Y/N: She's out cold like I never seen.

Then Clem's radio comes on. I pick it up.

???: Hell...o..oo...there?...

Me and Kenny look at it shocked and confused.

Y/N: What the?

???: Can't wait for you to get to Savannah, Clementine. I've got your parents right here, and you be sure to find me whether Y/N want you to or not. Now, what I need--

The radio turns off.

Y/N: Holy shit...

Kenny: I thought that fucking thing was broken...

Y/N: So did I.

Kenny: Well, it sounds like somebody knows where we're headed.

Y/N: Who the fuck...

Kenny: I don't know. But I doubt we're going to be happy when we find out.

The train then arrives in Savannah.
