Pov - Y/N

The taste of lemons drops sprinkle into your mouth,
The exploding flavors evaluating themselves as a small yellow crystal shines up at you.
Cheers flow out of the object as you touch the smooth surface of happiness.
But it doesn't stop there as a whirl of the scent rushes to your nose;
The unmistakable smell of birthday cake.

You move onto the next crystal in the shop and notice it's myterious colours,
The rare sounds of geckos echo around you,
Listening to the soft croaks as they play around.
The speckled crystal looks as if it could be placed in a bakery,
Mistaking everyone for it's bright colours that resembled a sprinkles cupcake.
But you couldn't be fooled as you knew the taste right away.
A disgusting flavor of mud pies would dispence itself onto your taste buds,
With one fatal mistake.

Looking away from the next crystal was pushed out of mind
As you were mesmerized in it's blueish downfall of design.
A waterfall looked down upon you as voguers on a quest passed by.
Parading birds making loud screeches as you touched the surface of the item.
The feeling of a cool breeze pushes past you
As does the scent of warmed blueberry muffins your grandmother used to make you before school.

With much dismay you moved on,
The mood quickly changed with it as you looked at the next.
This dark and brooding crystal smiled up at you with it's cracks,
Waiting for you to notice the unpleasant hollers it let out as you stumbled back.
Than soon you took wind of the smell,
A toxic scent that you couldn't quite place.
Almost as if a child was rushing past, their innocence fading with every step they take.
And the black crystal couldn't even give off a taste,
The bland rock tasting of a void as someone plummeted harder into their broken heart.

Shivering, you passed by without another thought,
Noticing the green crystal that lied ahead.
A camouflage vest laid itself over you as you touched the rock,
The feeling of a slick snake wrapped around your body,
Freezing you in motion.
As the taste of whiskey poured down your throat, leaving trails of fire.
Soon, the snake let go and the sound of rain washed over your ears,
The sound coaxing you to move onto the next.

Spiked roses laying in a bed of daffodils is what you saw as you looked at the new find.
The awaiting blood red crystal laid patiently with a soft glimmer,
Raising you to touch it's being and as you did it pulled you in.
A warm hug surrounding your body as you let it,
Even being able to get a whiff of sweet smelling cherry lemonade.
As you smelled more of it's sweetness you started to hear the whispers,
Your name being shared around as if someone was calling you, but you couldn't see what.

The last crystal had to be your favorite as you looked at it's peachy colours,
The swirl of inviting looks and falling in love pushes you to touch it's soft outer.
Feelings of soft peaches ran up your fingertips as something peaked behind you.
The sudden smell of pepermint and snickerdoodles pushed their way through and invited you in,
As well as the sounds of soft singing of a bedtime story.

As you let go of the last stone you turn to the store owner, who wasn't too far behind. Their build scaring you to no end, but you just smiled sweetly at them.

"I would like to take one of each gem."
