Lalia is 15 and lives in California with her mom and stepdad. She has alot to live for but her family is short on money and continues to struggle to keep a house. Lalia works at XN which is a gas station. One day walking home from work she seen a dress and feel in love immediately. It was red and had a sweet heart neck lace and and diamonds to line it up and glitter down the waste. She went into the store to ask the price when a old lady came walking out slowly with a brown long curved cane tapping comstantly. " 100.99." the lady said " Just for you." Laila laughed. "Are you serious." The lady stopped completely and told Laila " Dont question me your lucky you got off that easy." Laila shocked then replied " Why so much for a dress, it is beautiful indeed but why so much its not like the queen wore it." the lady stood stright and tall " Incase you haven't noticed im blind i need all the money i can get it was 200.00 i cut it down so it could get sold but this dress is very importanat it has a story well everything in this store does."
