I sighed, getting up. A new day and new questions. Can't wait right? I scoffed at my own sarcasm, I have been doing this a lot lately, talking in my head. I opened the blinds to let the sun in, its an Asian thing. It was my first day back, after my war. I decided to wear my signature colour red because why not right? It was a very sunny day, which totally did not match my mood. I wanted to eat some rice and curry, but I've gotta stick with waffles and syrup. God, I miss China already!

I threw this on, with a matching black boots and then knocked vigorously on my best friend's door who was also in the war with me.
"Melissa, open the door at once will ya?" Me being me, like mom says "why so impatient Lon?", the thought made me roll my eyes. You know what screw rules, I took out a bobby pin and carefully picked her door. Melissa was still in bed.
"Leave me alone, Lon. I am not ready for life!" Melissa said, as she sat up on her bed, her red curls all over the place, making it obvious that she wanted to sleep in. "I was awake till 2 in the morning, you can't expect me to.." she said as she checked her time table "go to History, it's an awful bore".
"No, you are going, come on! There will be a lot of questions and I don't want to face it alone so, you're coming whether you like it or not. I really don't care" I said as I rummaged through her wardrobe. She had too many orange stuff. I picked her an outfit and helped her get out of her sack and get into something presentable

"Are you going up for the team?" Melissa asked.
"Yeah, I am. I am getting back what was mine. Plus I heard the caption is from the isle, I can't wait." I said almost squealing, I am not doing that again.
"Good luck, I am in for archery, wish me luck!" Melissa said in a matter of fact way.
"You won't need it!" I said making us both laugh as we hurried of to our lockers.
I walked in the R.O.A.R hall and took my special sword, yeah I have different ones for different days. I decided to take this because this is where I take my place back from a bitch who currently has it. I see a girl walk in, her hair as dark as the raven in a cloak.
"Good morning class! Welcome to the try-outs! Who's trying out for the team?" Almost everyone except me put their hands up. "What about you?" she said as she noticed me.
"I am up for the caption, I'm Lonnie by the way!" I said, she was definitely Asian by her accent and everything, it was obvious. I watched as she scoffed.
"Let's break some bones" she said as I rolled my eyes. This was it.
The fight started calmly, defending ourselves as our swords clashed making a sound sending shivers through spines. But then I brought in my chi as I saw her bringing hers. We were fighting for almost 10 minutes now and neither one of us were winning. And then impatient me, did a full fledged flip landing directly in front of her. And with that, she dropped to her knees.
"Who are you?" she asked as I helped her up.
"I'm Li Lonnie, Mulan's daughter" I said. I watched as she scoffed.
"I am Shwera, Shan yu's daughter" she said as my mouth twitched. Of course, it all made sense.
"Losing again, your family is starting to have a thing." I said as I wore my badge. "Let's get down to business people"
How is it? I have this awesome idea of a love triangle. But this story manly focuses on Lonnie's life so no hate please. And sorry for the late update. I was stuck on what to write. Please tell me how I can improve, I'm a newbie at the whole writing thing. Enjoy! <3
