Marinette POV-
As we are laughing and having fun, we both lay on our sides staring at he ceiling. I'm having so much fun, but i do feel bad for forgetting patrol.
As our laughs die down we both turn to the side to look at each other. I see him staring at my lips and i think he's gonna kiss me. I don't know if i want to since, i do still love Adrien.
What do i do if he does kiss me? It will be so awkward after though, like what will I-
"I-i should go," he says getting up to leave.
what? huh?
excuse me? Are my ears deceiving me?
"Did i do something wrong?" i question a frown forming on my face, genuinely curious as to why he's leaving.
"No,no i promise you didn't do anything, i just need to clear my head, i'm sorry if i made you feel like you did something," he says with a very distraught look on his face.
"Oh, okay. Bye kitty," I say waving at him goodbye.
It's fine. He had to leave anyway, I have a lot of things to do.
"Bye Mari," he says going up through my trap door and leaving.
Why didn't he call me Princess?
Somethings definitely wrong.
Tikki comes out of her hiding place and looks at me sadly.
"It's okay Marinette, i'm sure everything's fine. If it's not, i know you'll fix it. You always fix everything," she says enthusiastically at me.
"Thanks Tikki," I say smiling at her. She comes towards me and hugs my cheek.
"Your welcome Marinette."
Once i've finished my Homework, i get ready for bed. As i lay down, millions of thoughts swarm through my head making me question everything.
Why did Chat leave so early though?Was the thought about kissing me so horrendous that he had to leave?
I shut off all my thoughts and decide to sleep since it was 1:03am. While i was welcoming the very heavy slumber that was waiting to take over, my mind was considering what will happen tomorrow at school since i'll see Adrien again.

Waking up the next morning, i have a new mindset that a new day means a clean plate. As i'm heading down the stairs i trip halfway down and land face flat on my cheek. Shit. That's gonna bruise for sure.
"Morning papa, morning mama," i say kissing both their cheeks.
Getting some pastries in a bag, i head out walking to school. I'm actually really lucky to live close to school. Makes my life easier with waking up late and running out of time to get ready.
"Don't you have a biology test today?" Tikki says, poking her head out of my bag.
"Oh my gosh, i do!" i exclaim, rushing back home to get my notes. "Thanks Tikki," i say patting her head. She smiles up at me and returns to eating her cookie.
Once i've got my notes, i head back out. Crossing the road i spot Alya, Nino and Adrien outside talking. I suddenly remember last time i saw Adrein, that makes me blush. I head towards them, hoping in not red as a tomato.
"Morning Alya, Nino," i grin at them. Then i turn and look at Adrien, he's smiling at me.
"Morning Marinette," Alya and Nino say together before heading into the school.
