That is the puppet in Mary's room. The first time I looked at it it felt out of place. At least, that's what I feel anyways. I think that The Puppeteer gave her this puppet as a gift. Another thing, this puppet is later featured in the newest game. This makes me think it would be important somehow. If you ask me, my theory would make the most sense according to the way the new game is. But of course, you can have a different opinion. I don't expect everyone to agree with me.
