Chapter 1

Izuku pov

In this world we have soulmates, but note everyone believes they actually exist, so if you get a soulmate who doesn't believe they exist then you’ll be in pain without them, mainly because you know it’s them.

This is my story…..

Present time: middle school

As i'm walking home, late because of kachan...why…just because i'm quirkles doesn't mean i should be bullied for it… it's not my fault

When I finally get home I get greeted by a note by my mom saying she had to stay at work late. I sighed knowing that she won't be home till 12 in the morning. I head to the bathroom so i can wrap up my burns and bruises, and when i'm done i go up to my room and go to sleep

I see kachan and a light blue haired guy fighting and then they both look at me and kachan yells "WHAT ARE YOU STANDING THERE FOR!!! RUN THIS GUY'S A VILLIAN!!" i get worried by the word 'villain' so i look at the light blue haired guy, but its like im drawn to him, his sent, his look……....everything...it just screams comfort...so i walk up to him, and he hugs me he then says “izuku...izuku wake up….you'll be late for school”

I saw my mom standing above me and she said “izuku get ready for school, or you'll be late” I just nod and smile and she leaves my room. After I'm dressed I head down to the kitchen to grab some food before I go to school but when I get there I see my mom asleep with her head on the counter so I sneak past her and grab a piece of toast and head out. When i get to school i see kachan and his goons walking to the class room so I decide to go around the back to avoid them. When I'm in the back I see the entrance so I go in and get to class. When I arrive I sit down and wait for the bell to ring. After a few minutes the teacher walks in and he starts teaching. After a while he brings up how I want to go to u.a and kachan yells at me, but i don't listen because I'm already in pain somehow...is it...my soulmate….that guy from my dream...is he hurt…? Oh god i hope not…

After a bit of not paying attention to kachan I feel a burn in my shoulder and he yells “OI! DONT IGNORE ME STUPID NERD!!” i finally just snap and yell “I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT! JUST BECAUSE I’M QUIRKLESS DOESN'T MEAN I’M HELPLESS!!” he stood there shocked and i stand and leave because i realize that everyone was gone

When I get home I see my mom cooking so I go up to the sink and start cleaning she looks at me and i say “i know you need the rest so go have a nap and I'll finish dinner and clean the house” he smiles at me and says “thank you honey” she walks to her room and i finnish dinner and the house. When I'm done i bring a plate of food to my mom and go to my own room to sleep

I see the light blue haired kid but the whole room is pitch black, he looks at me in confusion and asks “what's your name?” so i reply with “izuku midoriya” he replies “tomura shigaraki” so i ask “what's your number?” i could see him laugh a bit and then tell me his number but then i could feel myself waking up

I wake and i immediately put the number in my phone and text him

Izu:is this….shigaraki?

Shiggy: oh my god that was real

Izu: i think i might know why i saw you

Shiggy: me too

izu/shiggy:soulmates

Izu:....wow…

Shiggy: yeah…

izu: do you think that i could meet you

Shiggy:yeah...you probably need to go to school though so after

Izu: oh i completely forgot thank you!

Shiggy:yeah, i'll see you later

I put my phone down and get dressed for school

When i got to school i looked at my phone and saw that he had texted me

Shiggy:hey where do you want to meet

Shiggy: heeellllooooo

Shiggy: answer

Shiggy: oop sorry forgot you had school

Izu: its fine i get off at ___

Shiggy: ok i'll text you then

I get off my phone and went to my 1st hour, when i got there i saw kachan glare at me so i looked down and tried to ignore it, i sat in my seat and then the teacher started class. After what seemed like ages it was time to go home so i walked back but then i remembered shiggy so i got out my phone and he hasn't texted me yet so i continued walking home

when i got home i saw my mom on the couch worried while watching the news so i sat down next to her but when i saw the tv i was shocked

'new villain shigaraki severely injures 2nd place hero:endeavor' I feel a tear slip from my eyes and I fall onto my mother in despair...I'll never be able to have a good relationship with my soulmate and be a hero… I sob and sob so i dont notice my phone ringing, or that I accidentally answered and then my mom said "oh honey what's wrong?" i answered "m-my soulmate is a villain...an-and I said that i would meet up with him today” my mom looked at me shocked and said “YOUR SOULMATE IS A BOY!! AND A VILLAIN!!” I push away from my mom and ask “w-what…” she looked at me and then….she slapped me…..I get off the couch and run to my room just to hear “what did your mom do…” i look at my phone just to see i was on a call the entire time and worst of all...it was shigaraki...i say “um...she um...slapped me…and then i ran away” i could sense how angry he was and so i asked “do you still want to meet…” i heard him laugh a bit and then say “well if you didn't guess i'm a bit preoccupied with trying to escape the cops and heroes at the moment so maybe another time” i say “yeah…um...ill talk to you later, if i don't answer, my mom probably has my phone…”  he says “ok…bye..” he hangs up and i lay down on bed waiting for my mom to storm up here and take my phone for running away from her….i sigh as i hear her stomping becoming louder as she approaches my room ‘this year is going to suck….’ i think as i see her finally come into my room
