Shawn throws himself down on his couch next to Camila, sighing and closing his eyes. He had a few drinks through the night, but since the moment he felt her lips on his it was like he was completely sober. He opened his eyes and looked at her discreetly, her head against a pillow as she typed something on her phone. Her long dark hair was all over the place and her face was flushed as she looked up and caught him staring.

“ I think I’ll stay.” Camila whispers, staring back at him for a moment before smiling.

Shawn knew she would stay because Taylor and Hailee were both too drunk and passed out on the guest room and everyone else had already left. It would be the easiest thing to do.

“ Okay.” He smiles back at her, not really knowing what to do with this urge he has to kiss her again. He couldn’t stop thinking about her lips, how soft and delicious they tasted, but she did it because of the dare. He didn’t want to assume he could just kiss her again, especially considering she was a little drunk. “ Are you just going to stay here forever?”

“ What?” She looked at him in confusion.

“ I told you, you can have my bed and I’ll sleep here on the couch.” Shawn said, thinking the longer she was right there in front of him, the harder it was not to grab her face and kiss her again.

“ I don’t know… this couch is really comfortable.” Camila mumbled, closing her eyes with a smile on her face.

Shawn chuckled at her drunkenness and how cute she looked, standing up from the couch and leaning down to hook his arms under her back and her legs. He easily lifted her up, making her open her eyes and giggle while her phone fell down on the carpet.

“ No!” She said with a pout on her face. “ My phone.”

He felt her wrapping her arms around his neck and resting her face on the crook of neck, forgetting about her phone just like that. Shawn carried her down the hallway into his bedroom, having no trouble with the task because of how tiny she was. She weighted nothing in his arms.

Shawn approached his bed and put her down over the mattress, trying to unhook her arms from him, but she wouldn’t let go. She even mumbled something and complained when he tried to get away from her.

“ Camila.” He whispered with a smile. “ I need you to let me go.”

“ No, don’t go.” She said with her eyes closed.

“ I have to.” He chuckled.

“ Please, stay here.” She whispered, her arms still around his neck.

“ Let me at least go get your phone.” He said, remembering her phone on the carpet of his living room.

“ I don’t want my phone.” She mumbles with her eyes still closed. “ I just want you to stay here with me.”

“ Are you sure about that?” He asked, not knowing if he could take her word for it since she was both drunk and half asleep.

“ Yes.” She opens her eyes for a moment, looking up at him. “ Please, Shawn.”

Shawn sighed, knowing there was no way he was winning this discussion. He removed his shoes and climbed over her on the bed, laying down on the middle next to her. She immediately cuddled into him, her head resting on his chest as one of her legs was over his body. She was hugging him like he was a human size pillow, holding on to him like a little koala. He let his hand caress her hair as she fell asleep, his eyes noticing how her dress had gone up a little and her black underwear was showing. Trying not to think much about it, he pulled her dress back down, thinking this was going to be a difficult night.

He was right, because when he woke up next morning, the sunlight coming in through his curtains made her features look almost angelic. That was the least of his problems though, because Camila was now sleeping with her body completely on top of him and her dress had gone up again during the night, now exposing to him her perfect ass in that same black underwear he remembered from the night before.

He would be lying if he said he never noticed her ass, it was a hard thing to ignore, but he never let his eyes wander too much because it felt wrong to do so. Right now, though, it was kind of impossible to ignore, especially when he was trying to make his morning erection go away. Fuck! He needed to get off that bed without waking her up.

Shawn slowly untangled her arms and legs off him and made her lay down next to him on her back, fixing her dress down her thighs before standing up and quickly making his way to the bathroom. He splashed some water on his face and rested his hands on the edge of the sink, taking deep breaths to calm himself down. There was no way he would get himself off with Camila right there in his room. He could finally feel it going away when he heard knocks on the front door followed by the bell ring.

He walked out of the bathroom still wearing his clothes from last night and made his way to the living room, opening his front door to find his father there. Of course it was him, no one from the reception had called to let him know someone was going up to his apartment.

“ What are you doing here?” Shawn asks, trying not to feel annoyed already.

“ Where are they?” His dad simply asks.

“ I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“ Those damn documents, Shawn!” He says louder. “ I want them back.”

Shawn just stared at him for a long time until he remembered the documents Lucy, the housekeeper had given to him with his mother's other belongings. Before he could say anything though, his father walked in and started making his way down the hallway. Shawn walked fast behind him, trying to stop his father before he could enter his bedroom, but the man was already inside.

“ I’m not leaving without those documents.” His father said, walking to Shawn’s closet and making a mess out of stuff before finally noticing Camila asleep on the bed. “ You let them stay the night now? How nice of you.” His father says sarcastically.

“ Can you please leave?” Shawn says in a low tone of voice, trying not to wake Camila up.

“ I will once you tell me where you hid them.” His father keeps looking through his stuff, making so much noise that Shawn sees Camila moving on the bed, her eyes slowly opening.

“ Dad, please!” Shawn says. “ I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Camila sits up on the bed and looks at Shawn in confusion as he apologizes at her with his eyes. His father looks at him with angry eyes before walking back to the door, saying his last words.

“ If I find out you have them, I swear to god you’ll regret lying about it.” Shawn knows what his father is capable of, but the level of desperation he has to find these documents only makes Shawn more eager to read them first.

He hears the front door slam shut and just like that his father is gone.

“ Sorry about that.” Shawn whispers, seeing the fear in Camila’s eyes after witnessing his interaction with his dad.

“ It’s okay.” Camila says, forcing a smile as she stands up from the bed and walks to him.

He’s not sure what he thought she was going to do, but he didn’t expect her to hug him. She holds tight and Shawn lets himself hug her back, realizing she was trying to comfort him because he only now realizes his hands were shaking a little bit. He hated confronting his father and how nervous he would always get, he felt like a little boy all over again. It was the worst feeling in the world, but Camila didn’t say a thing about it, she was just trying to make him feel better.
