Hello everyone. I hope you enjoy this chapter (:

Sora POV
Powering on...All systems stable. Instillation 6% completed...

"Excuse me, head scientist Yosuke, you've got a letter" I say as I enter his private workstation

"A letter? From who?" He asks

"From I-Island" I say

"Ugh, throw it away" he says

"But it seems like an important letter" I say

"It's just another invitation to the I-Expo. I tell them every year that I don't want to go but they still invite me" he says

"If I may ask, why do you decline the invitation? If they invite you every year, then you must be of some importance" I say

"Sigh...I decline every year because I don't want them looking at my technology. It's why I left I-Island in the first place" he says

"Wouldn't progress go faster if you had the support from I-Island?" I ask

"It would, but I wanna take all of the credit for making the world's first working android. Call me selfish, but it's been my goal ever since I was a young boy. So I wanna be the one to achieve it all by myself" he says

"Well...If you don't want to use the tickets, maybe I could use them so that I could gather new data" I suggest

"No. I just said that I don't want anyone at I-Island poking around at your systems. So no, you are not allowed to go to I-Island" he says

"Oh...understood..." I say

"Good, now go and throw away that letter" he says

I leave his private workstation and go to throw away the letter. As I'm about to toss it away, for some reason I pause. I stare at the letter and look around for anyone. I then quickly run off to my provided room and lock the door behind me.

"I just went against head scientist Yosuke's orders..." I say to myself

I look at the letter and decide to open it. I read the letter and see that along with head scientist Yosuke's ticket, he's also allowed to bring a plus one.

"My systems are telling me to throw it away...but something else it telling me to use the tickets..." I say

I decide to get a second opinion so I give Aiko a call. After a few rings, she picks up.

"Heya Sora, kinda odd for you to be the one calling me. What's up?" She asks

I explain to her my situation.

"Oh...my...god. My precious little Sora is starting to go through his rebellious phase! What's next? pierced earrings? Dyed hair? Breaking and entering?" She asks

"I can assure you that I will not be doing anything like that. Although what I'm considering doing is definitely against my systems..." I say

"Well I say that you take those tickets and go to the I-Expo! Go against the system and do what you want to do!" She says

"But I would be going against direct orders. I don't know how my systems haven't kicked in yet and alarmed head scientist Yosuke when I didn't throw away those tickets" I say

"It's a sign! You're meant to take those tickets! It's your destiny!" She says

"But what if I'm decommissioned? My purpose is to always do the right thing and follow my code. I'm supposed to be the perfect hero" I say

"Sora, sometimes doing the right thing doesn't always mean choosing the good option. Sometimes the right this comes from the bad options people make" she says
