"Don't die" you joke, giving Bucky a warm hug.
You pull away and Bucky tugs you back into him, hugging you tightly before letting go.
He looks over at you, swallowing as he tries his best not to cry. "See you after the mission...okay? I'll take you out to dinner?"
You smiled softly, blinking back the tears in your eyes, "yeah, I'd like that."
He gazes back at you one last time before getting onto the zip line. He and Steve make a smooth landing on the train.
Little did you know, you'd never get that dinner date.
