At the exact time I publish this, it will be a year from the moment ratsareunderrated first posted the comment where everything started.
Things didn't pick up super fast of course, at the beginning it was actually pretty slow, just a couple of us pretending to make plans to kidnap Jeff Bezos. But, as the replies grew, so did the amount of people and by 1,000 replies we had formed a small community and all spammed "rat" to meet that goal.
At times, it was hard to keep up with to be honest, i was getting 200+ notifications a day probably from how much people talked but I never regretted it because I had met so many wonderful people, people I'll never forget. We helped each other with everything, and were comfortable to ask even the most embarrassing questions.
As any group though, it has slowed down and by the previous chapter of this book you obviously know the comment has been deleted (as well as the book now anyways). That doesn't change how happy I am to have been apart of it.
Ima keep this short cause i really can't express the graditude and love I feel for everyone that was and still is apart of The Jeff Bezos Cult, thank you all for everything.
(Even tho mattie is an asshole, ducky isnt bad anymore tho, she sends me cool aot fanart)
