Leather Jacket

I met Chaeyoung on tinder, she was kind, funny, attractive, and LOVED leather, especially her leather jacket

She was the daughter of a tailor, so her fashion sense was very unique

We've been dating for 6 months now and I've been dying to ask her where she got the jacket, it looked expensive and she didn't seem to have the money for that

Luckily, she invited me for dinner at her place

When I arrived, there was a cute little set up on the table, with candlelight, wine, and some home cooking

It was romantic

While eating, I finally got the courage to ask her

"So, where did you buy that jacket that you always wear?"

Chaeyoung looked up and smiled, "It was from my ex", she said, "I made it with her before"

Then why are you still wearing it?

"I-is that so? But why leather though? Isn't it hard to sew?"

This made her chuckle a little, "Well, Leather makes me look cool and it feels great on the skin. And no, my dad gave me great equipment, so it's easy"

Feeling kind of jealous, I asked if we could make a different one, and she smiled widely, showing off her adorable dimple

After the dinner, she led me to a room full of sewing Materials, told me to wait cause she will get something and will be right back

When she left, I tried to look around whilst not leaving the chair

But after a while, I smelt a foul odor coming from the closet

I tried my best to just suck it up but I couldn't, it was revolting

Not being able to take it anymore, I stood up and walked to the door while covering my nose

As I opened it, my eyes widened and my legs felt numb

I heard the back door open and close

She must be back

Not wasting anymore time, I peeked out and bolted to the entrance

After I arrived in my car, I speeded towards the police station

We ended our relationship and cut all ties to each other

Years pass by and the image is still fresh in my mind

What I saw that day was traumatizing

Inside was a rotten and skinned body of which I assumed was a woman

It felt like it had been left there for months, there were maggots all around

I've never worn leather ever since

Luckily my new girlfriend, Jeongyeon, is not very fond of leather jackets

She knows the story

But there had been a couple of times where I caught her wearing one

When I confronted her, she confessed

It wasn't her fault, she wanted to protect our relationship

Smiling at her sweetness, I asked if she wanted us to sew a new and one of a kind one, she excitingly said yes

Finishing up on the stitches, Chaeyoung was right

Leather does feel good on the skin
