Hongjoong's POV :
I sat by the river and kept looking at the water , it was so clean and i can see the sky's reflexion on it .
It has been a while since i came here , after all what happened, i can't help but feel guilty even tho i got forgiven from all of them .
During those years , i spent days with Seonghwa and honestly it wasn't helping with my feeling at all , i know i must let go of him and continue living , but easier said than done .
'' what are you doing here hyung ? '' i turned to look behind me to see jongho walking toward me
'' i don't know '' i chuckled and he took a seat next to me
'' you aren't a quiet person , that's unlike you '' he said minutes later and i just kept silent '' what's on your mind , beta ? '' he asked and i gulped , he is so powerful '' i am just trying to help , if you don't want me to , i will stop '' he said smiling and i couldn't help but let a sob out
'' hey hyung '' he said worriedly and lifted my chin '' what's wrong ? Are you hurt ? '' he asked and i shook mu head before hugging him tightly , he froze at first but soon after hugged me back
'' it's gonna be alright '' he whispered rubbing my back
Me and jongho were never so close to each other , it was always the kingdom's affairs that kept us in touch but these last days , few things changed , i can't help but feel a bit attracted to him , i don't know if it's because of my wolf's changes or anything but i prefer believing that it's that .
'' you are still thinking about him ? '' he asked suddenly and i pulled away to look at him
'' h-how ? '' i demanded confused and he leaned forward to the point i felt his breath on my face
'' i can feel it '' he said in a deeper voice sending shivers down my spine
Why does it feel weird ?
'' answer me '' he repeated looking into my eyes and i looked down
'' it's not a great thing hyung '' he sais pulling away to lie on the ground '' he has his mate now and we have disscussed this over and over ...''
He continued talking but i wasn't paying any attention to his words , all what occupied my mind now is his smell and beautiful features , was it always like that ?
I gathered my courage and stradled his thighs making myself on top of him , before holding his collar and leaning to press my lips against his , and strangely he didn't pull away , he kissed me back , he deepened the kiss by wrapping his hand around my neck making my legs go weak
'' finally .. '' he whispered against my lips before kissing me again and i let him take control .
We pulled away and i didn't know what to do or say , he stood up and started walking away
'' you know , whoever your alpha is , he won't be glad to know that you are still attached to your ex , who is someone's else mate '' then he took his wolf's form and ran away .
I stayed there for few minutes before getting what he meant , i immediately stood up and ran to the castle . Once there , i walked upstairs to Seonghwa's room and knocked at his door
'' oh hongjoong hyung" yeosang who opened the door said smiling
'' is seonghwa here ? '' i asked and he looked at me for a moment before calling his boyfriend
'' what is it ? Oh hey joong '' he said walking to me , i took a deep breath before taking the necklace that was the only thing that i have left of him off my neck and handing it to him , he looked at it for a good moment before taking it
'' thank you hongjoong '' he said softly and i smiled feeling free now
'' they were good days hwa '' i replied '' i have somewhere to go '' i said waving at the couple
I run and run trying to find him , but he wasn't anywhere
'' where the heck did he go ? '' i said breathless
'' who are you looking for ? '' i jumped at the sudden presence before realizing who it was
'' you ! '' i said walking to the smirking alpha
'' and why is that ? '' he crossed his arms over his chest and i took a deep breath before standing face to face with him
'' you are the mate who wont' be happy if i keep my ex in mind right ? '' i said and he chuckled before pulling me toward him from the waist
'' yes '' he said before pressing his fangs on my neck and marking me , i let a loud scream before losing balance
'' there you go , my beautiful beta '' he smiled pressing a gentle kiss to the bite mark making  me feel butterflies for the first time in years .
