AT AGE SIXTEEN Oikawa was tired. He was tired of not being good enough. Not being good enough to make it to nationals. Holding on to the tiny bit of hope he held deep in his heart, eventually evaporated. He dwelled in the love letters he had always received. His heart would swell as he read the words off the paper, the paper becoming damp as spots began to form upon the letter. And he hoped that one day he would meet this person that could fill a tiny void in his heart.
That moonlit dream I had always thought of will fill this hellish void inside my ever dying heart. (Darling, I will always be here for you.) Words left unsaid, but they both knew it was there.
