Ariah POV
The next day came and new day exploring once again back down to the sewers. We started to go back and start once more to search the area to find the rest of the Goblins. As we walked together I have one question in mind.
Ariah: I have a question Slayer, what is with the bird Slayer? I said as I pointed at the bird in the cage alone.
Slayer: It's a canary, canaries are sensitive to even trance of poison. The Goblins here are educated I wouldn't be surprised if they can use the traps down here.
Ariah: That's... quite smart... (mind): If we did this back at Forbidden Woods we would've been set for poison free for life. Fucking snakes... I wish for my life to never meet them ever again.
Lizardman: That's quite interesting, whatever did you come by such knowledge, Milord Slayer?
Slayer: A coal miner told me, there are many in this world who know things I don't.
Lizardman: I gather human miners have to be on the alert against poisons gases.
Ariah(mind): Reminds me of the Watcher's Gravedigger in Chalice Dungeons. I wonder before they turned into those things, were there poison gases inside of those Dungeons? I mean I had to be on alert with those stone statues bastards with their poison darts. But, never I encountered poison gas.
As we kept on going on our merry way we encountered a ruined bridge path over the canal below us. I then got flashbacks of me jumping top of building and ruins because I saw some items that I needed for the journey. The end results were either me dying from falling, me surviving, and wasting my blood vials, or the one that I normally get is I'm able to the other side. I then get to a running position as I started to run and jump shocking everyone and I made it. I jumped across the gap as I made myself a barreled rolled.
Ariah: Alright I made it! pass me the rope!
High Elf: Ariah next time tell us before doing something!? you almost gave me a heart attack!
Priestess: Oh blessed O'Mother you almost made me faint!
Ariah: Sorry, I will next time just pass me the rope already!
High Elf: Fine! *gets the ropes out prepares to toss it* Catch!
I caught the rope as I take out my Saw Clever just in case if anything comes at me. Once I have the rope I and used the end of the rope to tie it to a column and to make it more safe for everyone to be safe. I picked up a big rock and place it down onto some of the rope right next to the where I tied the end of the rope. I looked at it and see it's strong and ready to go.
Ariah: *turns to the group* Alright! you guys can cross it now, but one by one got it. Lizardman, can you jump across?
Lizardman: Do not worry about me, I can jump over it just fine Ariah.
Slayer was the first one to cross he made it with ease as I extended my hand to him and he took it, next was High Elf she made like so... easy she held up tightly to the rope tho, and next was that of the Priestess she was having troubles it was natural for her not to be used to it, but the rope wobbled a bit luckily Slayer caught her in time.
Priestess: Thank you Slayer-san...
Slayer: No problem
It was then the Lizardman leapt with ease across the gap along side his partner Dwarf, but then I see the Dawf landed right next to me.
Dwarf: Gahahaha! now that was fun! He said as his friend Lizardman slowly put him down on the ground.
High Elf: Heh, it would've been funny to see you try and reach for the rope while you cross.
