I get up from my bed only to remember I'm a newly wed.

I tiptoe to the window, gently getting out of bed.

I think of my past life, and how this is my new beginning.

To finally see life more clearly, and remember I'm loved dearly.

You lay there heart firmly beating.

I stand there wandering if your dreaming of me,

Or what were going to be.

Pillows fill my empty space, leaving you to hold them in place.

I smile you open one eye, I realize you're about to cry.

I rush over to see what's the matter.

You hold me tight, knowing know I'm in your full sight.

You sigh and let out a small laugh, I wonder if your alright.

Then you quietly say, I've been waiting for you my whole life.
