IN WHICH Amara Gilbert finally feels like her life is back on track. With a steady summer job and Margot being (probably) a temporary mother figure and taking over paying the bills after the most recent tragedy in their family, she thinks things can go back to normal, or whatever they had been before all the chaos. Ignoring Lip had been easier than breathing while he was in rehab, but when he's released Amara finds herself with those stupid butterflies in her stomach whenever he's around, and she determined to make them go away—even if that means avoiding him, too.
But fate was cruel, and it had different plans, because when Amara is forced to relocate after an abrupt problem with the house, she realizes she'd never be able to stop her feelings for Lip, especially after he saves her life.
