Right now me, Von and my momma in Florida. Melly in the dog house with Tanya and wanted me to come and show how I 'matured' as he like to say. Plus Von wanted to see Jay.
And I think it's time Von got to meet my dad
"Where Jay" Von asked looking around the restaurant
"Melly said they boutta walk in they waiting on my pops" I said reading the message.
5 minutes later they walked in I let out a long sigh before we stood up.
I looked at my dad and he just had a mug. He mugged me, my mom, and Von and shook his head before sitting down.
"How y'all doing?" I asked trying to start a conversation
"I thought you was dead" my dad said
"Ok we starting off like this" I said and let out some air.
"I thought you was fuckin dead Taniyah and the whole time you alive and got a fuckin kid and Ian know shit about it"
"In her defense—"
"Look lady I'm not trying to hear shit you got to say" he said
"I'm her mother I have a right" she said
"Awe shit" I said and drunk some of my lemonade
"Her motha?" My dad laughed. "You? Ok that's cool. You her momma" he said and stood up. "It's good to see you alive Taniyah you and ya momma here take care" he said walking out
"Ma why you didn't let me handle it" I said
"Taniyah he was talking too much" she said and waved me off.
"So you gone just let him walk off" Melly asked before getting up and going outside
This not going how I wanted it to go.
About 10 minutes later they walked in and they eyes was red as hell and they smelled like weed.
"You high?" I asked stating the obvious
"You not" he said and him and Melly laughed
"Papa a weed eater" Jay said making a joke as my dad laughed
"Papa?" I said
"Yep" Jay said and played on his tablet still
"Why he call you that"
"Why Von don't" he shot back
"We not here to be petty y'all we here to clear the air" Tanya said and I mugged
"Why she here again?" I asked
"Please drop the attitude we too grown to be acting like this still. It happened damn near 7 years ago get over it" she said and drunk some of her tea.
"On my life. Tootie we over this shit." Melly said
"Well I'm not"
"We can tell. You bitter and petty as shit" my dad said and I turned my head to him quick.
"The fuck you mean by that" I said
"I said what the fuck I said Taniyah. You like a petty bitter ass baby momma" he said again
"Imma take the kids to the play room" my momma said and walked off with them
"What the fuck Von had to do with y'all shit? You kept me away from my grandson, Jay brother and Melly fuckin SON over some fuck shit." My dad said and I got up. "Sit yo ass down you can't run no more you owe every body including Von a fuckin explanation"
"I don't owe nobody shit" I said and went to the play area to get Von leaving
