Noah's POV:

I am Noah Connors, and I am a spirit...

To be more specific I was born a spirit. Oh, also, I hate humans so don't piss me off.

Snyseville is my home, I was born and raised here. My father and I will make sure no one lives in this house, not even a single soul, quite literally.

So we can now go back to the part where I'm a ghost blah blah I'm gonna haunt anyone who comes near the house blah blah blah. My father wants me to feed for the first time, on a human soul.

This is a tradition ghosts do when they turn two-hundred years old. Ghosts age differently than humans, and at the point where we are about a thousand years old we stop aging, that would be like being twenty-five or thirty forever.

I need to feed on a human, and my father took the opportunity of there being many human stepping on our territory so I can begin the test. If I do not feed on a human, I could die. Meaning that if I don't pass the test then I vanish and my soul will be destroyed...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maddie, umm... I mean, Madison looks at me, terror filling her eyes, her heart rate increasing.
"Go away!" She screams. Gosh she almost burst my ear drums. Idiot.
"You can't stop me." I say, letting out a chuckle. I get closer to her as she quickly gets out of her bed with the little strength she has left from the fall. She runs to the door to open it but I use my telekinesis to lock the door. She runs all the way across the room, walking backwards. I grab her by her upper arms so she can't escape. She starts to move like crazy so I tighten my grip.
"Stop moving!" I say through grintted teeth. Since she can't stand still for three damn seconds I make her pass out. I learned that trick from my brother. As she fell unconscious I go ahead and feed, her mist-like soul going straight to my mouth. I let out a sigh of pleasure and quickly get off of her, throwing her onto the bed. Her soul was... Amazing... I have never experienced so much joy... It was as if electricity was traveling around all my body, and it was pleasant.
My breathing starts to quicken, and I disappear, leaving Madison laying on the bed. I teleport to the other side to see my father.
"Father, I have completed the test, I have fed on a human." I say, kneeling before him, he is king of the other side. There is a big difference between the underworld, heaven, and the other side. The other side is where all supernatural creatures end up when they die, good or bad; except demons, which live in the underworld.
"No." He says, and I look up at him confused.
"But I have fed on a human, I ate her soul."
"You tasted her, but you didn't eat her." I then understood what I actually had to do, I had to eat Madison's soul until there was nothing left, she would die.
"You have failed the test, Noah Connors." My eyes widen, anger rushing through my veins; but if I show it then he would ground me, and trust me, for a ghost you can get grounded years, centuries trapped in a cage with nowhere to go.
"Father, please, give me another chance to prove that I am worthy." He looks at me and thinks about it, he decides to be merciful.
"So be it. You have one month to eat her or your soul will be destroyed."
"I promise, you will be satisfied." He nods slowly and I teleport to Snyseville.
Humans live for a lot of reasons, they have families, jobs, they mostly live for people they love. Madison looks innocent, I am a monster, but not the devil. So, I will make her life miserable so that she doesn't have anything to live for.
