"Hi big mommaaaa" i hugged her as she left the airport
"Ohh baby your so beautiful i missed this face so muchhhh" She kissed me on the cheek
"Come on i know you cold lets get you in the car" she held my arms as i took her bags
"Granny missed you so so much" she kissed my forehead as i got into the car
"I missed you too big momma how have you been?" I asked her
"I get a lil lonely out there sometimes but other than that ive beem good" she said
"Ive been tryna get you to move out here to Chicago for the longest"
"Oh i kno but in not leavin the house bubba bought for me it just wouldn't feel right" she mentioned my uncle who passed before i was born
"I understand momma" i rubbed her arm
"What been goin on with you you've got this glow of a new happiness or something goin on"
"Youll find out soon i promise"
At home 9am
I had finally finished prepping everything that i had to cook for today i was just waiting on the girls to get here with theirs
"You ok big momma?" I poked my head into the guest room
"Yea baby"
"Ok ill be in the shower if you need anything" i said before leaving her to nap
She was jet lagged like crazy shes gettin to old for all this traveling
I turned the shower on and got a call from sin as i picked some clothes
"Hey baby"
"Heyy pookie" i smiled putting him on speaker
"What time did your granny get in?" He asked
"She didnt land until 6 this morning they kept delaying her flight because of all that snow" i explained putting my scarf on
"My momma cant stop talkin about meeting you she sounds excited"
"Are you sure?" I asked slipping the bonnet on
"Positive" he nodded
"Okk but please talk to your sister before she get here i dont want any drama today" i explained
"I know baby ima handle it ill see you later ight? I love you"
