It was dark and cold. Light was a thing of the past in this place. It seemed void of everything, except for a quiet tune. The tune seemed familiar. It was a music box sound, changing notes creepily. The haunting melody played over and over, while a soft voice sang the same words with the tune.
Break the glass
Shatter the past
Haunting shadows come out at last
Deep in the night
There is no light
Behold, my lonesome solo
Carry me far away
On the wings of a dream
Away from reality
Nothing can hurt you
Carry me far away

In the dark, a figure stirred. Moving her light blond hair out of her eyes, Lucy sat up, trying to adjust her eyes to the darkness. "Natsu? Levy-chan?" The last thing she remembered was fighting off Nightmare to keep Juvia safe. It appeared that she had failed. Nervously, Lucy moved her hand to her side, where she kept her celestial spirit keys. She sighed with relief when she found that they were still there. Having somewhat adjusted her eyes to the light, Lucy could now observe her surroundings. Dark stone walls were jutting out at awkward angles, ominously dark hallways led off into nothingness. Ivy and moss clung to stones. Warily, Lucy got to her feet, hoping that she could still walk properly after the battle. Leaning against the wall, she decided that finding the others was her first priority. If the other members of Fairy Tail were also in this place, they had to find each other.
Then came the voice. It wasn't just any voice; it was Nightmare's voice.
Welcome, fairies. I hope you're enjoying my labyrinth. I made it just for you. I'm assuming you want to find each other, so I'm setting up a little game. I've taken 8 members from your guild, excluding the Rain Woman. If you want to find each other, you'll have to search the labyrinth. However, everybody has a "double". The "double" is a making of my own creation. When you find them, the only way to distinguish between the fake and real ones is to kill them. If you kill the "double", it will simply disappear. If you manage to make it out of the labyrinth with all of the real, living 8 members, I'll give you a clue as to where the Rain Woman is. Oh, and one last thing. I've also got a few..."mistakes" in here. I do hope you'll have fun with those.
With a laugh, the voice faded away.

Stumbling in the dark, Wendy searched for her friend. "Carla? Carla!" Nightmare must have taken her as well. If she could just find the real Carla, everything would be okay. At least she wouldn't be alone anymore. Though Wendy would never admit it to somebody other than Carla, she still clung to some rather infantile fears. She was still afraid of the dark. The last thing Wendy wanted was to be alone and in the dark. As she walked along cautiously with her hand on the wall, she whispered words of encouragement to herself. "You've got to be strong. You have to do this, f-for Juvia. It will all be over soon, because you'll find the others. Soon Carla will be with you. Until then, j-just be strong. Try to be strong like-like Erza and Natsu. You can do it." Suddenly the wall she was keeping her hand against in order to find her way disappeared. Wendy felt around in the darkness for something, but the only thing was the ground beneath her feet. Seeing only one solution, Wendy got on her hands and knees and crawled along. At least this way she wouldn't accidentally fall off a cliff. After crawling around for a while, her hand skimmed against something that felt like fabric. Reaching out, she grabbed onto it tightly. "H-hello?" she said nervously, hoping that she had found another member of the guild.

Deep in the labyrinth, a monster wandered. She was so lonely, and so cold. So very, very cold. Everything here was dark. It was always dark, except for when she did that one thing. It happened when she was attacked by one of the other monsters. She could make something light shoot out of her hands to protect herself, but that was it. All that was left was her song. The lonely monster continued her wandering, unsure of where she was going. There had been a time when she wasn't lost in this labyrinth. Perhaps even a time when she knew what her mysterious power was. There was a time when she had known what she looked like, what her song meant. The memories were faded now, but she could recall bits and pieces. She remembered the concept of having friends, and a few blurry faces. There was one face that never went away completely, though. Ah, yes. It was his face. The face of the silver-haired, purple-eyed man that always stayed inside her mind. Perhaps it had meant something to her, long ago.

A/N: *Magic Dance from the movie Labyrinth starts playing*
Hey, I'm back! Hardly any dialogue in this chapter, but it's not like the characters could really interact. By the way, I know that Carla's name is translated in many different ways so I just wanna clear up any confusion:
Carla is the white Exceed, Wendy's cat, Charle, etc. In the official English manga, the name is spelled as Carla so that's how I'll do it. Thanks for reading, voting, commenting, etc!
Hey, here's a question:
Who else do you think is in the labyrinth? Also, what do you think of the "monster" so far?(she's my OC!)
