"I don't really celebrate my birthday and I don't really want a party of gifts"

"Guys were throwing jeno a surprise party. Sungchan and doyoung are distracting him so we should have at least 3 hours"

"He's really excited about this"

It was a gold locket necklace with the words "to my love jeno" carved on the back and inside were their pictures with them hugging and laughing"
He's gonna love this
They all got to work and started decorating the house and when they got done they looked at their work
"Dude this looks really good he's gonna love it"
Shotaro said with a huge smile
Jaemin checked his phone
"Guys doyoung just texted me. Their pulling up to the driveway turn the lights off"
They turned the lights off and hid. They heard footstep come up the stairs and Keyes jingling and when jeno stepped in they all shouted
"SURPRISED!!!"
Jeno didn't react he just stood there
"so uhh can we have cake now"
Yuta shrugged
Winwin hit him on the head

Everyone was quiet until Jaemin skipped over to jeno with a big smile

"I told you I didn't want a party. That's all I asked for and you go and throw me a party anyway, it's like you don't hear me at all it's like your so wrapped up in you little childish fantasies that you don't even pay attention to what's going on around you"
Even though everyone could tell jaemin was sad he kept his smile which broke their hearts
"W-well if you don't like the party I got you a gift"
Jeno put his hand on his head stressed
"ARE YOU NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT IM SAYING I DONT FUCKING WANT ANY OF THIS SO QUIT BEING ANNOYING"
Jeno threw the necklace on the ground making it break on the floor
Jaemin scratched his neck as his eyes watered and looked down at the broken necklace on the floor

Jaemin pushed through all his friends and went inside the bathroom sungchan tried chasing after him but the door got closed in his face

"A few months ago we told jaemin your birthday was coming up so he got a job and saved up money to buy you this gift that's now broken on the floor"
Jeno looked down at the necklace and picked it up
Jeno opened the locket and inside was him and jaemin they both were laughing and hugged each other
Jeno flipped the necklace over

Jeno felt terrible after what he did and he regretted it so bad
"were all gonna leave and let you sort out your problems please don't break his heart"
Taeyong patted his head
"I don't hate you jeno i slapped you out of love because I really care about you so don't think I hate you alright"
Jeno nodded and everyone left the house
Jeno walked towards the bathroom door and all he heard was his boyfriend sniffling
He opened the door and he saw jaemin on the floor hugging his knees
Jeno picked him up and put him on the couch setting him on his lap
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt your feeling I know you wanted to make me happy and I ruined it"

"Is my baby tired you must be so stressed from crying so much"
