(Persephone POV)
Abby comes running into the bullpen with a box in her hand. She runs up to desk
"Abbs-"
"Happy Birthday Seph!!" she cut me off.
Ziva, Dinozzo, and McGee's heads snap over towards the two of us.
"It's you birthday Percy?" Ziva asked
i nodded weakly
"How old are you turning?" McGee asked
"21" i replied
"well you know what that means Probe, your legally allowed to drink. So you are joining us at the bar tonight" Dinozzo stated as he waltzed over to my desk
Gibbs silently walks into the bullpen behind Dinozzo. Abby left and Ziva and McGee quickly went back to what they were doing.
"Dinozzo i have work to get done...i don't have time" i tell him
"Grady! your needed in M-TAC" Gibbs informs me causing Dinozzo to jump and spin around
"Hey Boss!" he calls out
"leave Percy alone and start working Dinozzo" I heard Gibbs snap as i walked up the stairs towards M-TAC where Director Vance was waiting for me.
"Agent Grady, Happy Birthday" he says with a slight smile.
i nodded as we walked into the room, i looked up and saw my brother
"Owen?"
"hey little sis" owen replied
i look over to where vance was only to find him gone.
"did Vance do this?" i asked
"Yep! i couldn't miss my favorite Weirdo's 21st birthday!" he exclaimed.
i laughed as we talked until Owen had to go. Before he left i warned him about the multiple navy ships that had exploded and told him to be careful. As i walked down the stairs to my desk i saw gibbs standing on a chair with a picture in hand
"HEY LISTEN UP! From now on Harper Dearing is our main concern. i want every agent working on this" He yelled taping a picture of Dearing onto the NCIS most wanted list.
i looked to Ziva who shrugged

the next few days went by fast. i never went home as we worked through the night. i ended up falling asleep down in abby's lab once only to woken by McGee
Since the Director was kidnapped he parks closer to the main building as a safety precaution.
McGee and I were sitting in the Bullpen as Tony and Ziva left to go get food for the team. We started to talk about Dearing we heard yells and saw people running out of the office.
thats when in slow motion. Tim got up and walked to the center of the Bullpen with a bright flash of white erupts in my vision. i faintly hear TIm calling my name as everything went black.
(Gibbs POV)
after i made sure abby was okay. i went up to the Bullpen. I saw McGee hunched over a small body that was covered in ruble and glass.
"McGee?" I called to him.
"Heya boss..." he weakly replied
"Where's Grady?" I asked.
McGee points to the small body in the ruble and looks down only to see glass lodged in his stomach
"Oh man.." he remarked.
"Go get help. NOW MCGEE!" I yelled as he ran off.
I started to move the rocks off Persephone. She was still breathing which was a good sign.
A few minutes later McGee came over with medical help.
They took Percy away and McGee looked panicked.
"Oh god....what am I going to tell her brother?" McGee speaks.
"The truth McGee. Now go with her" I told him
He runs off after Percy. I sigh as I pull out my phone to call her brother.
(McGee POV)
I paced to lobby of the hospital for hours.
"You ok there McGeek?" Tony asked me
"No I'm not Tony. It's my fault. I should have warned her. She's in here because of me." I exclaimed
"You couldn't have seen it coming McGee. It is not your fault." Ziva reassured me.
I looked down to the bear in my hand. I hope she'll be ok...Percy is like my little sister. Since her real brother is away.
(Percy's POV)
I wake up to blinding lights and soft beeping.
A hand tightened on mine as I looked over to see my brother looking at me.
"What happened?" I questioned grimacing hearing how bad my voice sounded.
"There was a terrorist attach perc. You were badly injured......there is permanent scarring, you'll most likely have PTSD and the doctors even say some permanent physical health issues. I'm so sorry Perc."
I looked at my brother in shock.
As I was about to say something McGee, Dinozzo, and Ziva come in the room.
"Percy I am so so so sorry" McGee told me
"You have nothing to apologize for Tim. You didn't cause the explosion." I told him giving a weak smile.
"I got you this" Tim told me as he placed the bear on the table next to me
"Don't blame yourself Tim" i reassured him, picking the bear up and hugging it as best I could.

After the three left Vance, Gibbs, and My brother walk in again.
"Agent Grady. You and your brother have been offered a job. At a theme park called Jurassic World as trainers. I'm making you take it." Vance told me
"Your laying me off?" I asked voice breaking.
"No. I'm giving you a mental health break" he said.
"It's for the best sis" Owen added
I nodded weakly hugging the bear Tim gave me as I fell asleep.
