Katie goes out into the hall.
Katie: Boys would it be alright if I talked to Dawn alone for a minute?
(Boys nodded and left).
Katie: Dawn? What are these?
(Dawn looked at the letters and looked down).
Katie: Dawn please talk to me.
Dawn: There are stalker letters...
Katie: What?
Dawn: They are stalker letters. I have a stalker. I don't know how and I don't know why. Someone is out to get me and I'm scared out of my mind. (starts crying).
Katie: Hey. Hey. It's okay.
(Brings her into a hug).
Katie: Hey honey why didn't you tell me about this? We could've went to the police.
Dawn: I didn't want to make a big deal. I mean everyone got so worried and the boys were the only ones who knew I didn't want to freak you out and make a big deal.
Katie: Dawn this is a big deal we have to go to the police.
Dawn: No, No please we can't.
Katie: Dawn... We have to go to the police. It is a big deal. Okay. Look I know the police will help. I have some friends who works in the police department who will help us. Okay?
(Dawn was silent).
Dawn: please not yet. Please.
Katie: okay.
(Dawn half-smiled).
Katie: Alright why don't we go home okay?
Dawn: okay.
Katie: Alright I'll get the boys.
(They talked a little more and then they went home).
