We are taught by others to fear the dark but perhaps the others do not realize that the dark does not fear us. The darkness holds no expectations or room for any kind of judgement, unlike the light that points out every flaw. The dark accept all that we are and begs not further explanation...The darkness is safe and should not be feared.
