No one needs love. We do not need love. It does not help us breathe. It does not help us eat. It does not help us drink. It does not help us sleep. We do not need love because it does not aid in any of the fundamental things we need for survival. But it does. Somehow, love allows us to breathe easier, helps us eat, drink, and sleep. Somehow something that means nothing is something that means everything. Somehow, we do need love not only to survive but to thrive.
