Chapter Five: Smile

Laura's P.O.V.

"Hurry up Raini, the show is starting! " I said as ran across the huge parking lot.

Raini was panting and bended over to put her hands on her knees.

"Girl, I got a C in Gym!" Raini huffed.

I stopped for her to catch up to me.

"Okay, I need to get you a personal trainer or som-" I was interrupted by a bunch of loud screams coming from the concert.

"Lets go, we still have time!" Raini said dragging me along.

We ran up to the security booth. Two guards came out.

"Tickets!" One of the guards said.

"Laura, it's the guards from the studio!" Raini bumped my arm.

"Laura?" The second guard boomed.

"T-That's me." I said nervously.

"Right this way." The guards said in a nice friendly voice.

I looked curiously over at Raini who shrugged and smiled.

The guards showed us to our seats.

"We're going to perform one of our newest songs first! It's called Smile!" Ross's voice rang through the mic.

God I haven't heard his voice in so long...

My heart was beating, scratch that, pounding , as I saw Ross's face again.

He looks breathtaking up there with his blonde locks and brown eyes...

I groaned, what is happening to me?

"You glad to see your bae again?" Raini asked me grinning.

"Speaking of bae, how's Calum?" I asked smirking at her.

"Laur, don't start." Raini scolded, but her face says otherwise.

I laughed.

I looked at Ross again.

And he was staring right at me.

Ross's P.O.V.

"We're going to perform one of our newest songs first! It's called Smile!" I said.

I kept searching the crowd for Laura...maybe I should give up. She said that she will try to make it..maybe something came up. Maybe-

And that's when I saw her.

She was wearing a t-shirt and jeans that exposed part of her long legs. Her hair was blowing lightly in the wind. She looks absolutely beautiful.

Raini is right next to her. I grinned at the thought of Calum's face when he sees her. Raini looks pretty, but Laura....

Knowing that she actually came made me smile. Ironic huh?

She caught my eyes. She started to blush, which was turning me on right on stage.

And the coolest thing is, out of about 15,000 girls that were right here in front of me, she was the only one who can.

Without thinking, I shouted into the mic," This song goes out to a girl I met just recently. I hope she likes it."

Hoping Laura got the clue, I started to sing.

The crowd was smiling, but to me, Laura's smile stuck out the most.

The crowd screamed and clapped. Laura had a huge smile on her face.

Mission Accomplished...

The thought of her smiling remained in my head as I started to play the next song...
